Recommended: The effect of science on society

Ever since I was a child, I have been completely enthralled by the human body. How does it work? How are physical and mental processes controlled? What is an actual "adrenaline" rush? Why is potassium used as the lethal injection? All of these questions and many more have been at the forefront of my mind. Attending upper year science classes in high school, allowed me to immerse myself even deeper these scientific inquiries.
