Leonardo Vinci Dbq

The Renaissance was the rebirth of the roman and greek ideas. During this time there were many great artist including Raphael , Leonardo Di Vinci , Michelangelo , and Donatello. I think Leonardo Di Vinci was the greatest artist of them all.
The first reason he is the greatest is he had the concept of the tank and helicopter. In the DBQ it says “ During the last three years of his life Leonardo spent most of his time sketching and working on his scientific studies.” This shows he had the time to figure out the concept of the tank and helicopter. There are many similarities and differences to his drawings and what they actually look like now but he had the concept. So that is the first reason he is the greatest.
Another reason Leonardo is the

greatest is his famous paintings such as The Last Supper and the Mona Lisa . In Source 2 on the web it says “ Two of his works, The Mona Lisa and The Last Supper occupy unique positions as the most famous , most repr reason I think he was the best is he was the first to conceptualize the tank and the helicopter. In the DBQ it says “ During his last three years of his life Leonardo spent most his time sketching and working on his scientific studies.” , This shows he thought of the concept of the tank and helicopter during those years. From the drawings to how they are now their is many differences and similarities. That is the first reproduced and most parodied portrait and religious painting of all time” , this shows how much it influenced and how famous these paintings were and how they made Leonardo great and famous. Some people made books about the Da Vinci Code.
In conclusion , I think Leonardo is the greatest. He’s made famous art and had the concept of the tank and helicopter. So that's why I think he is the greatest.
