There are many great players in NBA history including the one and only LeBron James. He has been compared to many including the G.O.A.T, Michael Jordan, based on his game and the way he performs on the basketball court. Throughout his career he has shown greatness on the court and it all started when he was a young boy. LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio (LeBron James Biography, 2016). When LeBron James was young he had to move around a lot with his mom Gloria James from neighborhood to neighborhood and tried to protect him from the poverty and violence of the streets ( LeBron James Biography, 2016). The year after the Miami Heat had won the championship in 2006 the East looked open for a team to sweep in and come out the East as the Miami Heat were more older and suffered injuries. During the 2006-2007 season, the Cleveland Cavaliers had won over 50 games playing very consistently with LeBron being runner up to Steve Nash for the MVP race and made it all the way to the NBA finals and got outclassed by the San Antonio Spurs who swept them 4-0 (LeBron James Biography, 2016). The society loves them both, they are both amazingly talented and have supporting fans that will always be by their side no matter what happens, through the peaks and valleys. As Larry and Celtics went into the playoffs after finishing 62-20 in the regular season, they faced the Chicago Bulls which they beat in only four games. In the second round Bird and Celtics fell 3-1 against the 76ers. To keep their playoff hopes alive Bird took over the game in the last few seconds getting two steals, a big rebound, and to top it off he hit the game winning shot. The series was a back and forth brawl between Bird and Magic. It came down, after a 3-3 tie, to game seven. Larry Bird and the Celtics took the series and the Larry O'Brien Trophy with them, defeating Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers. But this wasn’t it. In the 1985-86 Larry Bird or the “NBA’s most Complete Player” averaged 25.8 points and 10 rebounds.
