Adam Ali Personal statement Law and Business are ever-growing subjects which will always be a part of our lives. With this in mind I have chosen to do a subject which can be easily related to with real life situations as this is what makes it interesting and intriguing to me. At university I would like to study a course directly related to the A-levels which I have pursued. This is because I feel that Law, Business and ICT are all very much linked together in different ways. For example businesses use ICT in their equipment and Law in the acts which they must abide by at all times such as the Data Protection Act and Copyright Laws. I have chosen this as I have always shown an interest in this area. I come from a background which consists of a small family business and ever since my family opened a business I have always helped out in any way I could. I currently play an active role selling products from the business using our online store, which is available to anyone in the UK. The other roles which I have in the business are managing expenses and also ensuring that the computer s...

Throughout modern civilization, the American republic is widely known for its dependency upon the realm of business. Equally as vital, looms the ever-present hand of the American law system. “All beings have their laws: the Deity…man his laws” (Montesquieu,1), this statement serves true in founding that law is consistently a necessary portion in society because all society desires law. As a consequence of the continual presence of law, careers aimed to interpret the crevices of laws, and to defend them, are synonymously as necessary in society. Absolutely, the gain of America’s economy is a direct reflection of the lawyers who protect them. Lawyers are a necessity to the nation; serving their purpose as defenders of the law. The system of corporate law is undoubtedly the cornerstone of corporate finance, and as citizens begin to thrive more immensely in a capitalistic nation, legal representation will be the trailblazer to the continuation of the American system of corporations. As I embark upon the journey of excellence into the world of corporate law, I endeavor to change the way business is defended, upheld, and represented.
...hat of how to apply law effectively. Now, I’m able to participate in casual conversations about sports, but I’m more interested in conversing about the structures of free agency, labor-related issues and the drafting and negotiation of contracts.

Nearly every aspect of law enforcement has a court decision that governs criteria. Most court rulings are the result of civil lawsuit towards a police officer and agency. However, currently, there is no law that mandates law enforcement driver training. When it comes to firearms, negligence by officers has resulted in a multitude of court rulings. Popow v. City of Margate, 1979, is a particularly interesting case that outlines failed firearms training by an agency. In this case, an officer chasing a suspect during a foot pursuit fired at the suspect, striking and killing an innocent bystander (Justia.com, 2017). The court ruled that the agency was “grossly negligent” of “failure to train” (Justia.com, 2017). As a result, nearly every agency requires annual firearms training and has written policy concerning the same. Officers must show proficiency in firearms use every year to maintain their certification. Many states even impose fines on officers for

Case management refers to when a person or people in need require an environmental intervention. The Conrad Hilton Association defines case management as “one of the primary services offered to individuals and families who face multiple challenges, including severe mental illness, addiction, and homelessness.” Case management often helps those who are struggling or who are in need, however, the term tends to be used very loosely within organizations.

The rule of law, simply put, is a principle that no one is above the law. This means that there should be no leniency for a person because of peerage, sex, religion or financial standing. England and Wales do not have a written constitution therefore the Rule of Law, which along with the parliamentary Sovereignty was regarded by legal analyst A.C Dicey, as the pillars of the UK Constitution. The Rule of Law was said to be adopted as the “unwritten constitution of Great Britain”.
However, law is not my sole academic interest. I am also drawn to subjects involving the big bucks- that is, economics. I became familiar with money at an early age by selling Girl Scout cookies to the locals. I took it a step further as a teenager with a job at Wendy’s, where I have learned firsthand about productio...
Business law, likewise regularly known as business law, is made up of standards, statutes, codes and regulations that administer business connections. Those connections could be either business-to-business or business-to-shopper.
