I first became interested in the study of law around the age of 12; I had a preconceived idea, in my head, of what justice was and the need to apply it everywhere. Years past and I realized that justice was open to interpretation but the Law was not. Laws are written and imposed, they apply equally to all and consequences will be given to people that do not respect them. This is when I realized that legal education was a baggage I would like to carry with me for the rest of my life. The knowledge of the Law but also the skills to apply it is something I aspirer to have.

Therefore, I am open-minded to new cultures and ways of living. My dad always said “money should be used to learn about different cultures by seeing them with your own eyes rather than being spent on material things”. He taught me to put my money away and to use it to travel to see the different faces of the world. Visiting Europe and Asia made me realize that law is not applied in the same way around the world and made me think about becoming an international lawyer.
I am hardworking and committed when it comes to my job and life goals. I started working at the age of 14 and since then I have always had a good relationship with my employers and coworkers. My jobs always ended with a recommendation letter and the main reason for their ending was the return to school. Education is my priority but I worked during summer for the government of Canada. My work consisted in collecting 2016 census from people for Statistic Canada. My different work experience help to build me into a responsible and mature person. Being part of the International program in my high school, I had the opportunity to do some volunteer work. We had the chance to help different organism and one of them was L’acceuil Bonneau. This experience opened my eyes and showed me bigger problems our society encounter and pushed me into becoming a more compassionate
