One day my mom and dad took me and my sister to California to visit my oldest brother. When we got there my brother picked us up and took us to eat then after that he took us to his house. The third day some of my brothers friends invited him to do laser tagging with us. My brother said yes and it was like a seventeen minute drive but we got there like at 10:00 pm. The place was pretty big and it was called laser X it had a big light up X in the front and lasers pointing up. We walked inside and it smelled like all arcades do and to the right you would see a pool table and arcade games. We went to the front desk to get some bracelets to play each time until 12:00 am. The first game was at 10:15 so we started to walk around and look around. There were bowling alleys with projector screens on top playing music videos and a place to get food. It was our turn now so we went in to this little room where they explained the rules to us. When they finished they took us to another room where the equipment was and it a little bigger than the one before and it was a little dark but they had black lights and the vests for laser tagging also had lights. They had two different colors for two teams blue red and the guns had a little lcd display where it showed our name and it …show more content…
would show the scores after the game. Once we get everything set up we went inside the laser tech room it is pretty dark but they had black lights and different color lights.
It was still really dark and there where walls and barrels you can hide behind. There also had stairs that lead to the deck where you can see most of the place. A robot voice counts down, three... two... one.. GO!! Me and my brothers friends where trying to get to the deck first but the red team had already taken over. We quickly made a plan to take over the deck but red team had good people so it was really hard. We decided not to do it but we still tried a little bit longer. I was running it it was hard too see and all of a sudden a ran into a wall kinda
hard. Them game ends and we check our scores on a tv that they had on the wall. I had gotten 4th place and and my brother got first and my sister had gotten 6th. We went for another game but this time they turned all the lights off and just left the backlights. My team took over the deck and we where defeating the red team by a lot of points. We only had 30 seconds left and our team was doing really good. We gain a lot of points and the timer counted down, 3..2..1.... The lights turned on and we went to go check our scores. I got first and my brother got third and my sister got fourth. After we went to Taco Bell, It was the best night ever.
I lost my shoes that night to cause they fell off in the lake so my mom had to make me some it was pretty funny. I wouldn't say it was the best experience, but it sure wasn't the worst. Now for the funny part, Some of my worst experiences. i was about eleven so not that long ago we were down in the racetrack area we had found and we hadn't been there for a while and noticed there was a hill of rocks about four feet high so we decided to ride up them because it was flat on the top. I was scared like normal, so my grandpa said “ why don't you go ahead and do the throttle?” I was okay with that so I got ready my grandpa was behind me ready to steer and right when I pushed the throttle I pushed just a little too much and we tipped the four wheeler on top of us, we were crushed between the rocks and the four wheeler for about ten minutes and now when I run I think that's why my knee messes up all the time cause I got a rock stuck in it. Another experience is I was riding my sister around I was ten, she was five I had her up front so she would be safe and we pulled into the driveway because i needed a drink. We stopped and my mom got us a drink, I was turned around talking to my grandpa on the four wheeler no one was paying attention to my sister and while we were talking she pressed the throttle and we crashed into the
We learnt a game called Gaga, we were in this circle box, we had a ball and we had to try to avoid it form touching us, when I did touch us we sat on the edge waiting for the next game! We were in groups and my group started with canoeing, the guy who was there said that there were bull sharks in the water, and that scared me so much because I’m so gullible. We were with partners and we lined up our canoes in the water, and I swapped with someone and ended up being with akolde who is very bad at steering because I was doing all the work. After that we went back to camp and we played the environmental game! We were put in groups, I was in the lowest group which meant anyone could catch me, the hunters could, the diseases and some other group. We had to walk around the forest trying to find stamps to stamp into our leaves, I was with a group wondering around, I managed to be one of the winners with like 10 other people. We came back to camp and did what I was most excited for, the obstacle course, we walked around looking at what we had to go through and then came back to the start to start! We had to go in pairs, and I was with Maja, we were and epic duo, that went through all the obstacles, we ended up second, but we should’ve come first because the group that came first skipped some obstacles. The last activity was the farm activity, we got to see some pigs, and after we went into a cage and went through the farm, looking and learning about cows. We later came back to camp and ate dinner. In the night Mr Mcguane went on a night walk and some people went, I went and Mr Mcguane told stories about pirates, UFOs, and drop

When I was seventeen years old and going into my senior year of high school I was given the opportunity to go on a trip to Spain with my school. It was a two week trip during the summer, visiting different cities and historical sites throughout the country. While we where there we went to see a Flamenco dance show in Seville which is about an hour and a half outside of Madrid, the city where we were staying. It was a Wednesday around one o’clock when we left and the ride up there was really beautiful. We were driving through the country side passing some small villages on the side of the road. We arrived there around 3:30 and sat down for the show. It was really cool they had all the ladies with their bright dresses and fruit in their hair dance around while we ate lunch. And the show ended around five and we started to head home. On the way home we were driving through the countryside along side a small village when all of a sudden we heard a loud bang and the bus started slowing down. After a couple of ...
I remember a couple of my friends that I played with that night. Alicia, who was the ruffian of the hood, was fourteen and a lot bigger than I was. Chris, who was the slimmest and the tallest of the bunch, we called him the beanpole. Andrew, who had been a long time childhood friend that always wanted to be in the army; this game obviously gave him the inspiration.
It was the last Saturday in December of 1997. My brother, sister, and I were chasing after each other throughout the house. As we were running, our parents told us to come and sit down in the living room. They had to tell us something. So, we all went down stairs wondering what was going on. Once we all got down stairs, the three of us got onto the couch. Then, my mom said, “ Well…”
Then, with the water bottles we made smoke bombs. Then we rode in the dugout again. I went to my house to check in and I got chalk. We played more baseball. We were thirsty so we took a break and got water. Then we started making the hole in the dugout bigger. I used my scooters as stairs.
My mother had allowed my father for the first time to take my brother and I to Florida on a vacation. Well unbeknownst to her my father was a part of the Jamaican Posse and was selling drugs state to state and internationally. He also had us around his girlfriend and their daughter at the time who he introduced her to us as the MAID. On a late night my father came home and the MAID told my father that I was just like my mother and that I thought I was better than her daughter. My father came into the living room smacked me in my face, he went outside and got a tamarind switch (like rose stem with the thorns), he told me get naked in front of everyone, he proceeded to whoop me, and then put me into an alcohol bath.
My other brothers were much older than me so they went to middle school. The reason me and my mother were home is because I was too little to go to school and my mother was the one that had to take care of me. So as the monday the morning went by my mother started making breakfast. When she opened the fridge and started look for the ingredients. When she saw that their was only juice she laugh and said “the struggles”. Then she turn around and said to me “we are going to
On that fateful day in March, I was a couple months shy of my third birthday. My family and I lived in New Mexico at the time and were renting a house with an outdoor in-ground pool. The day was beautiful. I was outside with my oldest sister Rachel and my father. Rachel was diligently reading curled up on a bench that sat against the house, and my father was mowing the backyard. My mother and my other sister were in the house. Off to one side of the house there was a group of large bushes. I was playing over there with one of her large cooking pots, off in my own little world. At one point while amusing and en...

It was the leaders of the program laughing at us, telling us to hurry up, and telling us about a consequence that would be to come if we were not at the field in the time frame given to us. Thankfully, we all arrived at the field with thirty seconds to spare. We found a water fountain and we were all refreshed. Then we were given the task of moving our living quarters. We slept in covered wagons for the two weeks that we were there.
We decided to start at the bottom and work our way up. The first floor was locked somehow, because the elevator wouldn't go to it. Ok, scratch that idea. On to Deck 2, it looked the same as Deck 3, but with slightly smaller rooms. Deck No. 4 was called the Main Deck, which had the main entrance, fittingly called Crystal Court. It was a miraculou...
I jumped out of the car with my two sisters and ran to the bathroom. When we left the bathroom, we walked back to the car. We saw that our dad was still putting gas in the car, so we went into the store to buy some sweets. I bought “warheads” that said extremely sour, and a bag of chips called “baked with fire” that looked like they would taste really hot. When we purchased our food, we walked back to the car. As soon as we started driving, I opened my bag of chips. I was so scared that they would be extremely hot. For that reason, I also bought a bottle of water. I opened it before I took a bite out of the chip. Luckily, they were not hot at all! I grabbed my sour candy and tasted it. My face changed so quickly; that I started to squint my eyes and point my lips. I could not take another bite of it because it was really sour! Eventually, I was not hungry anymore. Probably because I ate my whole bag of chips and a sandwich. When I finished eating, I was feeling exhausted, so I took a long nap. I woke up, and dad told me that we only needed to drive for one more hour. While we were driving through town, we saw a row of trees on fire! It was so smoky that we could barely see the street we were driving on. I felt scared for life and terrified that we might crash. After a few more minutes of driving, the smoke cleared up and we could see again. Finally, the hour passed and we arrived in California. Mrs.
