Lastly, the day arrived when D.Y.J. had to confront one of the league contenders. Since we joined the season from the kickoff, we cannot look to catch a high place position, however playing against the league?s best is important for the team in general, so we can then make some predictions for the following season. According to two different sources of information Maxela occupied either first or second line in the league. The owner of the league stated that they were officially first, surpassing ?La Machina?. In any case this was a team we needed to face to make a sense of our team?s potential. Despite Jerry?s effort to coral the crew, there were more or less unpleasant surprises ahead of the game. We arrived late at the park, and five minutes before the whistle we still did not get the numbers. Most of the players who were late, informed Jerry ahead of the time that they will play ? so it was not such a big deal. The different story was with Elvis, Marvin, and James. As per Jerry he had no information regarding their plans, even though we were counting on them. Unfortunately, that did not help much. Overall, we confronted our most important game with serious line-up trepidation: …show more content…
Once again coach proposed half-and-half approach with Dima playing in the first half, and Chris takes care of the business in the second one.
That did not work as well as coach would envision this time. Both Dima and Chris looked weaker than usual in the area. After the game, Dima stated that it was hard for him to go into the game with the team falling back 0:2. He stated that every moment, during the second half he was cogitating about the time, and the fact that he must force out something unusual ? right straight off. That, he believed forced him to play risky, and in the aftermath, it caused several mistakes that seriously spoiled his experience. He pointed out that this was definitely not the type of soccer he prefers to
play. In return, after short absence, Josua and first time participant Eduardo, we had two relatively new laterals. Both are formidable players, who at the end directly impacted the final score, however, they were lacking in fulfilling their defensive responsibilities, and we noticed making questionable positional choices. With all honesty, both Josua and Eduardo are much better in different positions, as a forwards, for example, but the fact that D.Y.J. had only eleven players, did not give us much freedom to move them into different roles. Frank and Marvin, who recently granted us two solid performances on the lateral wings, were absent, and Chris was only used in the first half. The center of a midfield suffered the most. All five first choice center midfielders were out of the line-up in the first half, with Dima returning after the half time. Enrique was injured. Haitem was sick. Elvis simply went missing. David Carranza, who came out in this location during the Gallos Negros game, in general, cannot play the late games, due to his work arrangements, and was absent. As a consequence, the path that we were ramping up during first six games went out of the window. One time again, in the aftermath of the game, coach stated that D.Y.J. managed to bring home the bacon with a direct play in the second half, but they would not have to come back from the -2 situation twice, if they would of moved according to the design from the beginning. There would be no need to poke themselves out of the mess. *** With the referee, whom we never met before, we had some issues also. Firm and unswayed by the pressure ? which is a commendable quality, he cooked enough of mistakes to turn our game into hell in the first half. He began the game on time, without granting us any time to put up the line-up. Along the first play by Maxela referee did not send for the handball, certainly setting the tone for the future controversy. In the aftermath, the coach points out a red card that the referee should give to Maxela in the first half, and a card awarded to Mike in the second half that was a direct result of referee?s pure judgment, minor errors aside. D.Y.J. supposedly started the game with the following line-up: Dima (#1) | Francisco (#2) + Jerry (#3) + Harry (#4) | Chris (#7) + Eduardo (#11) | Gee (#5) + Dale (#6) + Josue (#8) | Manny (#10) + Mike (#9). Supposedly ? because there was a lot of miss communication about the roles on the field - Eduardo had some issues adjusting to the left lateral position, while Josue, who helped covering the left wing from a central midfield position, was also leaning toward playing like a lateral. That created some ambiguity, regarding defensive responsibilities. Gee and Dale, who travelled to the middle from his usual (#10) were not enough to defensive midfield zone in the first half. Unfortunately, D.Y.J. is not yet mature enough of the team to successfully adjust on the fly. Maybe this is partially an issue with a vocal leader on the battleground, but likewise this is about taking somebody else leadership. Neither Gee, nor Dale, nor anyone else was able to conduct a defensive effort in the first half. And there was some bickering. A famous Gee?s phrase: ?I do not want to hear this!? - Is perhaps not the best means to handle the disagreements? D.Y.J. in general saws some frustrations along the battlefield, and even open arguments, involving Gee throughout the whole game, while the quality of Gee?s game actually was rather honest. We will have to work on this as a team, and perhaps improve our communications.

What seemed to be a very long and difficult game, the Worland High School Varsity Girls come through to winning the game against Powell. Still remaining number one in the 3A division in the state of Wyoming, Worland has put up a fight regarding their loss against Lander last year at state soccer in Jackson, Wyoming. Worland’s very first game of the season this year in 2014 was against Jackson. The defending state champions were demolished by the Warriors, and Jackson also did not score a single goal. Majority of the girls soccer players this year are very young, only three seniors are on the team this year. As observed on April 4, 2014, the Warriors went against a stronger team in their division, Powell. Not only does Powell have bigger, stronger, and faster girls, but they also started worrying the Warrior crowd after they had put two shots into the goal of the goal keeper. With the score 2-2 it became more and more intense in the crowd. Only about 10 minutes were left in the game, and like last year at state Worland did not want to go into overtime because if there was no goal after overtime match it would lead into penalty kicks. As horrifying as it is to have that kind of pressure within about 6 minutes left of the game a goal was finally made for the Warriors! The score was now 3-2, and Powell was not happy. As the head coach from Powell was jumping up and down saying that they have this game motivated his girls. However, Worland put up a fight and as close as it was Worland finishes off the game with a win. An evaluation of the game was indeed a struggle to write on; however, Anna Hepp will give me information from her perspective of the game along with the another senior, Yesie Herrera.

The first day we got there we had started off so wrong by arguing. We weren’t doing well and we argued most of the time. Us as a team, we honestly made ourselves look bad in front of the coordinators and other teams that were watching us. The coaches had given us a real big pep talking about sticking together as a team to make us better. Although we didn’t think we needed it, it actually

on day in early june gablin was sitting in the dugout of the san jose sunbirds stadium remembering last season. It was the eighteenth inning of the second game of the Western Division play-offs against the Santa Ana Lionettes and Gamblins idol. Carol Spanks was at the plate Spanks lined the ball to the left of third base a shot lit so hard that it pulled the glove off Gamblins hand and rolled onto the artificial turf Gamblin scrambled for the ball spun around and threw her idol out at first base. It was she thought the best play she ever made.
As the week went by it was finally coming to an end. It was time to sit down and see who was going to start and see what lines we were in. Another shock, the JV coach said the attack lines first and then said the midfield line. “Luke La Grassa starting midfielder and face off midfielder”. I could believe it once again.

However, with Coach Fleurie stepping in to carry on the legacy of Coach Reed, the girls are taking this season one game at a time. According to senior Paige Messana, team chemistry and morale is at a high for both players and coaches, “Coach Fleurie is great,” states the second basewoman, “She’s a lot of fun and really understands the girls and how it’s a little bit of a transition, but she is super friendly and willing to help the team reach our fullest potential.” To help Coach Fleurie, Paige, along with Catcher Rosemary Volinski and Centerfielder Toni Esposito, the Clippers look to make sure that above all, having fun is what matters. However, this does not mean that these girls are not looking to win, considering the fact they have plenty of potential to do just that. Along with the Senior veterans, the Clippers look to be a presence on the mound with ace pitcher Ashley Hilary, while newcomers Grace Syron and Hannah Sutton look to even out the lineup in order to produce one powerhouse of a
On August 17th, 2014, the body of a fifteen-year-old female was found wrapped in a duvet weighed down by rocks in the Red River. The body was later identified as Miss Tina Fontaine, who is from Sagkeeng First Nation. This disturbing story was covered by CBC in an article titled “Tina Fontaine, 15, found in a bag in Red River” and underneath the title is a photo of Alexander Dock on Winnipeg’s Red River. Spread on the dock is small memorial towards the deceased aboriginal. The article then continues to explain that under the circumstances her body was found in, the police are treating the case as a homicide. In the article, Miss Fontaine is described as “petite little thing” who weighs 100 pounds and that she had only been in the Winnipeg

The Godfather is most notably one of the most prolific films of its time. This "gangster" film displayed many transformations of permeating color to give the viewer observable cues in its mise en scene that drew one right into the movie. The dramatic acting set the tone of the film with a score that lifted the viewer right out of their seat in many scenes. The directing and cinematography made The Godfather ahead of its time. The nostalgic feel of family importance and the danger of revenge lets us into the life of the Mafia. Even though no other techniques would have given the viewer a feeling of inside the mob like the mise en scene of the power the godfather held, the characters are reinforced literally and figuratively because the story views the Mafia from the inside out, and the cinematography of the film gives it a dangerous and nostalgic feel.
There is a system that can pre-determine the human behaviour and their place in society, but there are those who provide argument that this method of assessing the human nature of any individual is not correct. The characters from the actual squad in the film Suicide Squad (2016) are described as criminals because of biological determinism, regardless of the external factors. However, this is not an entirely correct way of labelling these people because biological determinism can also classify others in a way that creates inequality, but several scientific research has favoured biological determinism. This is because certain environmental circumstances can affect groups of individuals, which would be unfair because this would establish a view
