At a very early stage in life, kids are already able to identify rhythm even more able to move to beats and melody of music. After all like they say, music touches the soul. Music becomes a natural part of life to kids as they begin to sing songs for kids to their stuffed animals, enjoy the sound of music being sung to them by their parents and even perform dance movements to nursery rhymes.
Music provides positive cognitive benefits that aid children in their early stage of development. Singing as well as music play is essential in cultural roles. Music is ever present in our everyday life from movies, to television, worship, government, national anthem etc.

A lot of parents have shared testimonies of how they have been able to tuck their kids with a lullaby or soothe them with a song. It provides joy in kids. Kids are able to though music teach dance movement which aids them in coordination. It encourages kids to be inclined to move more, which helps them develop fine motor skills and gross motor skills. And if the kid find the music very entertaining you may notice them jumping which helps with their muscle development, strength and balance
Furthermore, songs for kids inspire a creative spirit. Whether it is making up their own lyrics to song, dancing wildly to kids music or drumming to the preschool songs, kids definitely are able to tap into their inner creative spirit. Children are also more likely to improve in their social skill through kid’s music as they would be able to interact with other preschool mates while they sing together. This way they are able to build confidence, improve on vocal skills and express themselves in the company of other skills.
