I define a hard worker as someone who is willing to struggle and work hard, despite the fact that nobody will notice. Inside this essay, I will explain not only how I match this description, but also exactly how the Kealing Magnet Program is the optimal place for me to meet my goals, and how I will contribute to the community in ways outside of academics. Although my current school, Austin Home Base, has been great, I am ready for something new, and challenging.
When a task is assigned to me, I work tirelessly so I can complete it. I always push myself out of my comfort zone, doing much more than is expected of me. If I am not completely satisfied with what I have formed, I will do whatever I can to make it the best work I am capable of producing. In the 6th grade, I took part in an after school class, in which I not only increased our knowledge by going to museums and art galleries but also did everything we could to make our school of higher quality. I built bikes whose designated purpose was for the kids in our school to use, painted picnic tables for our school, and much more. If accepted to the Kealing Magnet Program, I can guarantee that I will assist in creating a greater environment. I love helping my community, and I will never pass up a chance to make it cleaner and more desirable.
The same year, I also participated in another after school class, based on the PALs program that many other schools take part in. Our original goal was to support and help younger kids with their homework, but soon after the program began, we expanded and began doing many other things. I helped in food banks, cleaned up our school, designed school T-shirts, and put together and hosted our school talent show. If you accept me to the Kealing Magnet Program, I will happily do whatever I can to help Kealing Middle School become an even better
