“I’m living in that 21st Century, doin’ something mean to it/Do it better than anybody you ever seen do it/Screams from the haters, got a nice ring to it/I guess every superhero need his theme music.” A revolutionary leader is someone who goes against the status quo, someone who goes out the way and changes the norm of society, and someone who leaves an imprint on the world. Kanye West is a revolutionary leader because he drastically changed hip-hop/rap culture as seen by making high fashion brands popular in the hip-hop/rap industry and producing songs that confront materialism and contain relatable lyrics.
Kanye Omari West was born June 8th, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He was born to Donda West, a english professor at Clark University, and Ray West, a member of the Black Panther movement and the first photojournalist for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. His mother passed away on November 10th, 2007 from complications after a surgery. He is also in a relationship with Kim Kardashian, and has a daughter named North West. Kanye West went to Polaris High school, and then completed one year at Chicago State University before dropping out to pursue his music career. Kanye West has always been wealthy and currently makes his living as a rapper and fashion designer. As of now, he is currently touring and working on new projects, such as a new album.

As this being one of the many controversial quotes West said in his so called “rants”, Kanye West tells the people who were listening, Sway and Mark Parker that he is at same level of these impactful people and brands and that he needs people to support his ideas and action so that he create more. I thought this was a brave thing to say the he is the most impactful artist of this generation, because many people may think the opposite
