As a child, being born and brought up in the arena of advancement in technology, I was fantasized about how aircraft can fly and how ISRO is able to send spacecrafts outside of the earth. After discussing the former with my seniors and latter with the school teachers, I developed a natural proclivity towards the flying things. Further when I solved the problems of physics which include calculating the speed of wind, aircraft in different situations make me realized that air is necessary for it. Kalpana Chawla, as a role model, played significantly important part in shaping my career and realized me that we can achieve everything in the life if we want and nothing is impossible.
After securing admission in the prestigious PEC University of Technology

I have been an NSS (National Service Scheme) volunteer and have organized events such as Blood Donation Camps and projects like Aabha, in which I got the privilege to teach the children of the under-privileged college workers. This provided me a satisfaction of giving something back to the society. Joining an NGO named IMAGES, which organized various events such as The Maverick Maestro (2013), Aura (2014) and Eminence (2015) has helped me improve my communication skills, instilling confidence in me and hence grooming my overall personality. During my work in these organizations, I have developed in an excellent team spirit as well as leadership qualities at a professional level. At times, handling both academics and all of the above activities proved difficult and strenuous for me, but did not deter me from following my passions for the …show more content…
It is my belief that most students stymied their interest in research because their basic knowledge of the subject is obscured and consequently opt for another fields. Since this field will be requiring a lot of well-trained students, I believe that my small contribution might help the aerospace industry. I expect to be richly benefitted from an extremely dedicated faculty, extensive research facilities and environment endowed with a plethora of academic activities. I assure you that I will strive hard to match the high standards set by your university and would be a great asset to
National Honors Society is an extremely prestigious and well-known group that gave me the opportunity to assist the community while working harmoniously with my peers. To get into NHS, there are four pillars one must fulfill, including, scholar, service, leadership, and character. One may not realize it, but these qualities apply all throughout life. In order to be successful, one must achieve some form of each pillar. Being dedicated and committed to learning and improving but also using the knowledge one previously has is to be a scholar. Giving back to one’s community by making improvements or donations or simply just being courteous to one’s neighbor is to give one’s service. Taking the initiative to solve problems and guide others towards
Growing up, my parents and other influential figures around me modelled the importance of community service through their continual volunteer work and dedication to improving the world around them. Whether it be participation in a well-attended project or persistent contribution to a helpful organization, those aforementioned individuals were formative in guiding me towards a path filled with opportunities for having an impact on my community.

Despite not being a part of over 20 different organizations, as some claim to be, being a part of a smaller number of groups has allowed me to focus on developing my leadership skills more thoroughly than I could otherwise. Not spreading myself too thin has made me much more committed and involved in the organizations that I am a part of, making my influences so much stronger. I firmly believe that I am trying my absolute best not only in school, but in leaving my comfort zone and being an active member in our community. I am honored that I have been considered for such a prestigious invitation as
Throughout everyday tasks in the classroom, or outside of school, I step up and lead those who need to be led. I constantly find new opportunities to lead others and help the situation any way I can. Every summer the band has a marching band camp for a week straight that we must all attend. Being an experienced band member, I step up and assist all underclassmen and show then where to go and what they need to be doing. Instead of getting frustrated when giving the freshman directions, I am calm and collect and walk them step by step until they understand, something most leaders would not have time or patience for. With many plans to help others and lead within my community, I believe that I have what it takes to be a strong, and powerful leader for the National Honor Society.

Are we allotting enough funding for aerospace research? At the present time, significant progress in aerospace research will not be made for a long time. It is sad that we don’t place more urgency on such an important field. Yes, there is still research being conducted in the field; however, limited funding prevents significant advancement. The benefits derived from aerospace research should provide enough justification for investing more money in this area. The benefits are not exclusive to sp...
Ghandi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. The National Honor Society consists of individuals who exhibit scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Those apart of this special program are expected to not only strive to improve their social environment, but act as a role model, and influence others in a positive and responsible manner. Hearing what the National Honor Society strives and stands for, I believe that I demonstrate the traits and ideals for what the program offers.
The relationship between young people and nonprofits can be the start of a significant change in our community, and should be a reciprocal and powerful educational experience. An open-minded and encouraging flow of communication between organizations and community members can be the launchpad for the social and environmental change organizations talk about and try for every day. Together, we can make change – not just a semblance of idealism, but reality, as well.
In the Sixth Form, I regularly attend the school Debating Society, where I jointly hold the senior most position and organize many school charity events in my Senior Prefect role of Charities Coordinator. In the past, this has included raising nearly £3000 on the behalf of an Indian Cultural Society Fashion Show for the Indian earthquake. I was involved in the establishing of the first ever Student School Council in which I was Year Representative.
Some colleges offer a degree in aerospace engineering; others offer a more generalized engineering degree with some coursework in aerospace engineering. These courses might include aerospace guidance systems, extreme-altitude material science, and the physics of high-altitude radiation. Internships, summer jobs, and any experience in the field are helpful, as entry into this industry is highly competitive. Many aspirants may need to relocate to California, Washington State, or Texas, where the majority of defense industry aerospace work is done, to work for companies such as NASA, Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Two years into their job an aerospace engineer can be planning on being Junior members of research staff are swamped with work, both in the lab and in offices, crunching data and organizing research.
I am also proud that I am active in volunteering. I was the Vice-president of Red Cross Society at school. I participated and organized a lot of events, such as the annual Charity Bazaar and presentations by guest speakers from the city’s Red Cross Society. The thing I 'm proudest of is that the annual Charity Bazaar events were extremely successful and the money we raised was used to help the poor regions of China. As the VP of the RCS, my abilities of organization, creation and communication were greatly improved, my leadership skill was also trained very well. I believe that these abilities would be an important asset in the business
Besides academics, fine arts and sports in school, I have attained leading roles in different groups. This year, I am the Spirit Leader of Student Council encouraging monthly goals and themes and assisting in school events. From creating a student council with a group of peers three years ago we have had success in many events and have found new ways to spread spirit, gather important information and assist with financial groups. Recently, I stepped up to be the leader of the fundraising committee for our ...
