Everyone (most people have) has someone they consider a hero. Heroes can be anyone with astounding courage and strength. Individuals who choose to risk their own life to increase the happiness and fairness in others’ lives are heroes. A hero is someone who is daring, cunning, and humble. A prime example of a hero is Justin Trudeau since he is a leader who has the people’s best interests at heart, and he combats racism and fights for equality.

Justin Trudeau had an exceedingly average life just like any other Canadian. Justin was born on December 25, 1971, on Christmas Day and always showed interest in Canadian Politics. He is the father or Pierre Trudeau who served as the 15th Prime Minister of Canada. Later on, in life, Justin went to McGill University and the University of British Columbia. After graduation, he married Sophie Grégoire who was a former television host. In 2013 Justin became the official leader of the Liberal Party. Justin boxed a conservative politician in 2012 for a charity and won, earlier in life he and his dad sparred together. Eventually, in 2015 he won the election

for Prime Minister and unseated conservative leader, Stephen Harper. Justin is also the first Prime Minister not to have any European roots. Before becoming Prime Minister he published a memoir called Common Ground in 2014.
Justin Trudeau had influenced lives and changed people's quality of life.

During his election he promised voters real change in his campaign, calling for increases in taxes for the wealthy and tax cuts for the middle and lower class. He also said that he would protect abortion rights and legalize marijuana in Canada. While in office he has changed the country’s climate change policies. He has said that Canadians want a government with an agenda for this country that’s positive and ambitious and hopeful. He also appointed half of his cabinet to women honoring a campaign promise of having a gender-balanced cabinet. “When asked why he the need to do this, the self-purported ‘proud feminist’ simply replied: ‘Because it’s 2015’” (Justin Trudeau). He is a hero because he protected women’s reproductive rights, lower taxes on the poor or lower class and legalized

marijuana.
Justin Trudeau has helped many people in the lower and middle class and made Canada a more environmentally friendly country by changing policies on climate change. He not only changed the country’s policies on climate change but has also canceled the Northern Gateway Pipeline. He has raised taxes on the wealthy and cut taxes for people who don’t have as much and protecting women’s rights to abortion. He has also reduced the Canadian government’s advertising budget saving the government 221 million dollars in professional services, travel, and government advertising. Finally, he has lifted the Mexican visa requirement to enter the country effectively allow many more immigrants to enter the country more easily.
