Justin Timberlake should be in the rock and roll hall of fame because he have influenced many people, was rewarded with many Grammy Awards, and most of his songs became in the top biggest songs in the world. First, “Justin Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, considered to be the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock and roll” (“Justin Timberlake Biography”). He grew up singing in the church choir and performed in talent contests. “In 1992, after several years of voice lessons, he appeared on Star Search, a televised tournament-style talent contests that helped launched the careers of many top entertainers” (“Justin Timberlake Biography”). The judges did really like him, but he didn’t win the contest. He didn’t give up though, he went on The Mickey Mouse Club that had singing and dancing when he was twelve, with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Ryan Gosling. After it was shut down, Christopher Kirkpatrick called and asked him if he wanted to be in the band, N’Sync. Their albums were “I Want You Back” and “Tearin’ Up My Heart.” …show more content…

The people were Janet Jackson, George Michael, Prince, Elton John, Timbaland, and Marvin Gaye. The most of all who have influenced Timberlake was Michael Jackson. Timberlake thanked Michael Jackson for giving Timberlake the “idea” to do his solo career when he stopped being in the band, N’Sync. “The “seed” of Timberlake’s solo career was apparently the single “Gone”, which Timberlake wrote around 2001. It was originally intended for Jackson” (Michaels). Timberlake wanted to do a duel alone with Michael Jackson, but Timberlake was still in the band. Timberlake said, “The first time I ever got about doing something on my own. It was the first time I ever really felt the confidence to do it” (Michaels).
