Would you want someone who abandons their pet monkey and spits on their dedicated fans in your country? Well that’s just two awful things of many that Justin Bieber has done. Justin Bieber is originally from Stratford, Ontario, Canada, but moved to America after his debut album went platinum in 3 countries in 2009, according to www.bio.com. Since then Bieber has become even more famous and has achieved even more in his music career. He has also been caught in the news for some bad boy behavior like according to abcnews.go.com he caused 20,000 dollars of damage to his neighbor's house after he egged it. The fact that he acts foolishly and is at this point is thought of as an American go hand in hand because he doesn’t just cause mischief in the homeland, but he does so globally and that could taint America's image, and in saying that, Justin Bieber should be deported because he portrays America poorly, endangers American citizens & sets a bad example for the youth. The first reason for deporting him is that globally he is viewed as an American and not as the Canadian that he truly is …show more content…
His poor life decisions carry no weight to them in the sense that he is not punished almost ever. That’s teaches kids to act before they think of the consequences. Shimi Kang M.D, wrote on www.phsycologytoday.com that when people like Bieber who young kids look up to, do something bad and get away scott free, it can resemble jellyfish parenting, which can make the young person think it is acceptable to act that way, when it is not socially acceptable to. I will say it again and again. Justin Bieber should be deported because he disrespects other countries. Justin Bieber should be deported because he disrespects his ‘own’ country. Justin Bieber should be deported because he doesn’t represent America well. Justin Bieber should be deported because he is a delinquent and he needs to get his act

He is also discriminated by his teachers and others at school due to his feelings of not participating in the national anthem “Some smart-ass. I stuck him in the corner. Thinks he can pull that shit. The kid’s got no respect, man.” (Rodriquez 19). His teacher becomes furious, because the boy does not want to say the anthem like the other students. He feels obligated to say the anthem, and many readers can relate this aspect with the United States Constitution, where every human being is supposed to have freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, but...
Justin Bieber, as you all know, started off as an International pop sensation. Unfortunately, everyones image changes...Some for better, some for the worst. He started out being very credible (which means to be able to be trusted) and loved by the Nation, then as the years went by and he aged, his credibility lowered and his fans lessened, last but not least, his credibility today is at the point it is at because of the choices he made.
According to Jose Healy, an editor at The Wall Street Journal, a sixteen-year-old undocumented student, named Feliciano, was being bullied at school. When the student confronted the teachers and staff about the situation, they just asked the bully to stop, but that only made the situation worse. One day, Feliciano got tired of everything that the bully did to him on a day-to-day basis and decide to fight back. The bully received a broken arm after their the fight, Feliciano received a restraining order from the court. This article is a good example of how the harassment on undocumented students could escalate and give them a bad reputation in the eyes of Americans. Although in this circumstance the American boy bullied an undocumented student, the one that will be looked at in a bad way would be the immigrant student. That seems unfair because it gives the undocumented people a bad reputation when they weren 't the ones that started the problem, nor did they try to escalate it. Immigrant students just want to become someone in life like every other
In today?s society, we value and learn to tolerate different cultures and people. Sometimes people end up expressing themselves differently as well. This country is based on the idea that we may express ourselves any way we want to, be it religion, organizing, writing, or speaking. Music has been a popular form of expression for centuries. These days, in the country best known for freedom, some people are trying to censor it the freedom of music. Music should not be censored along with any other form of expression otherwise what we and artists say are being controlled. If we value freedom, then that includes what we may say and how we say it even in musical form.
...e an effect on our politics, its very important for a candidate running for president to have a popular celebrity endorse them as president, just like Oprah did for Obama in the 2008 election. Giving celebrities huge amounts of power over everything in our society. But what does Justin Biber know about the economy, or what does Oprah know about running a country? Thats the thing, they don’t know, and because people blindly vote on a presdient only because most the celebrities like him, is causing our political figures to care less about the everyday citizen, and work harder to please the celebrity that helped him get elected.
From everything that we know thus far there isn’t a big enough reason as to why we should all of the sudden stop recognizing Columbus as the founder of our nation. Therefore, he should be given recignition of his accompishments and still be known as the one who discovered America.
Have you ever wondered why your dad has a white leisure suit deep in his closet? Probably because of Saturday Night Fever, the most popular movie of the late 70s. That was the age of disco, the age when discotheques were the place to be. People weren’t ashamed of wearing bell bottom pants or leisure suits in public. Your dad probably wore his once in awhile. Nowadays, people look back at such a time and can’t believe that disco was the pinnacle of American society, a type of music which gained its own culture and mass following, prompting the question: “Why did disco become trendy?” Who would’ve thought that this was started by Tony Manero, a 19 year-old deadbeat living with his parents in Saturday Night Live?
In most cases, when someone has an idea or an opinion to share, they do so clearly, and without fabrication. The definition of satire is to simply to use humor or sarcasm to expose political or social challenges. There are two main types of satire used, Horatian, and Juvenalian. Horatian satire is a playful way to criticize them, usually with humor and no feelings are discarded. On the other hand, Juvenalian satire is more harsh, the receiving party is typically offended. In his poems, Chaucer exhibits the use of satire while critiquing the sanctity of three controversial operations.
Satire is the most powerful democratical weapon in the arsenal of modern media. Sophia McClennen, the author of America According to Colbert: Satire as Public Pedagogy, describes it as the modern form of public pedagogy, as it helps to educate the masses about current issues (73). In fact, ”a Pew Research Center for the People & the Press survey in 2004 found that 61 percent of people under the age of thirty got some of their political 'news' from late-night comedy shows” (McClennen 73). This statistic shows how influential satirical shows such as The Colbert Report or South Park can be. Satire invites critical self introspection from us in a way that no other media can. It also acts as an unbiased mirror that reflects the mirror image of the flaws of our society. This beautiful process, when unhindered and uncensored, is the epitome of western freedom of speech, which is the single most significant right that deserves to be cherished and defended.
John Marwood Cleese, an English actor, comedian, writer and film producer said, “If I can get you to laugh with me, you like me better, which makes you more open to my ideas. And if I can persuade you to laugh at the particular point I make, by laughing at it you acknowledge its truth”. The point he brings up is the ideology of satire. Satire, by definition, is a technique utilized by writers to expose and criticize foolishness and corruption of an individual or a society. This can be done by using humor, irony, exaggeration or ridicule ("Satire - Definition and Examples", para.1). Often times, the humor used opens the audiences’ minds to the underlying problem that the writer is trying to reveal. By examining the purpose and methods of satire, dissecting literary works, and displaying examples in the media, satire is shown to be a valuable tool.
...ut his culture. I believe anyone, not only musicians, but any artist should be able to express themselves and their beliefs through their work. If it is the norm in your society to believe something is wrong then how can you expect a prominent artist to express himself in a manner that goes against the norm of his society. Personally I believe that he is signing about his culture and no one, no matter what the situation, should be criticized for expressing his or her beliefs.
Thesis Statement: How Justin Bieber went from singing annoying pop songs to Bugatti Biebervelli the Caucasian Canadian Trap Lord.
Satire is defined as “the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues” (Oxford). The best satirical writers can make the readers believe that an idea is “logical and practical.” This is seen in great abundance in Aldous Huxley’s novel, Brave New World. Through his writing, Huxley uses satire to effectively point out the flaws of society at the time. Even though Brave New World was written in 1931, the satirical points Huxley makes are still relevant in today’s world.
Justin Bieber: The Comeback of the year It is not easy to think of a 21st century male with more unkind mockery, unjustified hatred, naysaying and pessimistic comments than 21-year-old pop-star Justin Bieber. For some time, it looked like this superstar’s career might have been slipping away, adolescent antics increasing over the last few years, haters predicting and hoping for a shameful and abrupt downfall, destroying his image and social status in a flurry of news reports and stories. But this did not let the pop-idol give up.
