The quick rise to fame did have an effect on Justin Bieber though and he started getting an “I’m better than everyone else attitude”. The 2011 paternity lawsuit was the start of a string of scandal, bad behavior and bad press for the young pop star. In July 2012, Bieber really upset a mother of two younger children, while on a flight. Bieber wouldn’t stop yelling curse words, and the mother had to repeatedly ask him to please stop. In October 2012, Bieber got sick on stage and threw up on his fans, and he tried to say it was because he “drank too much milk”. Nobody knows why he really got sick, but nobody believed it was from “milk”. Things in 2013 were not much better in regard to his behavior. In January, Bieber got caught smoking …show more content…
On January 13th, his California home was searched after he was accused of egging a neighbor’s house. Nine days later, he was arrested for suspicion of drag racing and driving under the influence. A breathalyzer test showed that Bieber was not sober and he was taken into custody until he posted $2,500 in bail. The charges later reduced to only resisting arrest. Finally, in September 2014, Justin was arrested and charged with dangerous driving and assault in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario. Even during these “bad boy” period though Justin Bieber proved he was not all bad. Scattered within the scandalous bad headlines there are often ones that showed just how generous and kind-hearted he actually is. Some of the many, many charity related things he has done include:
- The November 2013 launching of an online campaign #GiveBackPhilippines, to raise money for survivors of Typhoon Yolanda. The campaign raised over $3 million in an effort to give child survivors access to education, vaccinations, clean water and sanitation. Because of his efforts, Justin became the first international artist awarded with a star on the Walk of Fame Philippines. When interviewed about this endeavor Bieber was quoted as saying, “I have long been a fan of UNICEF’s work, and it is my privilege to be able to support the organization as they respond to the needs of all who have

He seems instead to be a guy who became troubled because fame came too quickly and he was too young to know how to deal with it. Many of the situations and headlines were things many teenagers do and they were overblown. They would not have been of any interest to the public if they involved someone with less celebrity. Justin Bieber is a talented artist and it seems that he could be getting himself back on track with a big comeback in 2015. The comeback started when Justin was first featured in a prominent Calvin Klein ad and then he nailed a summer Top 10 hit with the Diplo and Skrillex collaboration "Where Are Ü Now." Then in October 2015, Bieber landed his first No. 1 single with "What Do You Mean?," The best of luck to him! May his career be successful until he grows

Justin Bieber is suppose to be a role model for today’s society and demonstrates the immiturity of stars his age and how when you have “fans” all the fame can go straight to your head and you can start to believe you’re untouchable. “Why the f**k are you doing this? What the f**k did I do? Why did you stop me?” Bieber cussed out a cop when he was pulled over for drag racing in Miami. During the stop, Justin failed a sobriety test, admitted to under age drinking, smoking weed and taking some antidepressant prescription pills that his mother gave him. Over the last five years Justin has been careless with the stunts he has pulled and the things he has let take place. He has been caught fighting with paparazzi, he was urina...
Despite Bieber's recent behavior, there are still people that don't believe he should be deported because he was never "technically" convicted of anything criminal. However only 26% of Americans believe this according to the HuffPost/YouGov poll (Swanson and Foley). While Bieber hasn't been convicted, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be deported. Just ask the 151,835 immigrants that were deporte...
Celebrity success is often idolized as a magic solution in which all of an individual’s problems will suddenly be erased and furthermore, the new on-brought attention will bring positive and lifting influence to the individual. Unfortunately, success is often not the solution. In To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar discusses his path to success, as well as the disappointment and turmoil associated with fame to demonstrate that success does not alleviate depression.
...e an effect on our politics, its very important for a candidate running for president to have a popular celebrity endorse them as president, just like Oprah did for Obama in the 2008 election. Giving celebrities huge amounts of power over everything in our society. But what does Justin Biber know about the economy, or what does Oprah know about running a country? Thats the thing, they don’t know, and because people blindly vote on a presdient only because most the celebrities like him, is causing our political figures to care less about the everyday citizen, and work harder to please the celebrity that helped him get elected.
Most people have heard of Michael Jackson in their lifetime, his songs have been played in countless of movies, “Thriller” is played every October, but people might not know how he reached his fame. They might also not know what started his downfall. It all started out great, but a few rumors can ruin anyone’s reputation; Michael Jackson was a great example of this. Michael Jackson was known as The King of Pop, and one of the greatest singers and performers of all time, but a few mistakes made him go down as one of the most controversial modern tragic heroes.
Imagine at the age of eight you are the lead singer of one of the most popular bands at the time with multiple songs reaching number one and produces incredibly popular albums, and at the age of around twelve you start a solo career, ("Jackson 5"). Michael Jackson's life was just that, including many multi-million selling songs across two music groups the Jackson 5 at the age eight and going solo at the age of twelve and having many adoring fans it contributed to Jackson being the best pop singer of all time. Although there were rape allegations which people suggest that Michael Jackson should be stripped of his title of the "King of Pop". Michael Jackson even with the faulty allegations, the popularity

This is exactly what the media does to celebrities. Most celebrities that we have become to know have all changed in a lot of way from before they started their career and when they actually became famous. There are many artists, actors, musicians that were once people you would not even believe. A story that really inspires me is the musical journey of Stefani Germanotta. A small recording artist, not very well know, that is why I choose to discuss her because she has been through this with the media. She went to a small all girls catholic school in New York City. Paris Hilton was in her school. Look where she got, where did she go. She was made fun of everyday for her appearance. She was musically inclined to no extent, she had the talent. She knew how to play the piano by herself by the age of four years old (4).By 13 she wrote her first ballad; by 19 she was writing songs for the Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears. Obviously she had the talent so when she went to go get a record deal, she went to...

According to many sources Justin Timberlake “Supports 29 charities and 25 causes” (“Justin Timberlake: Charity Work”). When Brittany Murphy died, when Lindsay Lohan was jailed, when Britney Spears shaved off her hair, the question was asked – what have we done to these kids? We all love rags to riches stories, but it seems that the people are almost as fond of riches to rags – or let’s say, stardom to failure. What happens when a successful young performer becomes a has-been star? The high-profile troubles of celebs like Michael Jackson and Gary Coleman reinforces the truth that nearly every kid who has worked in the entertainment industry has struggled as an adult. Although some may argue that several child stars have gone on to have stable and successful careers as adults, our contention here is that a lot of celebrities who were exposed to the limelight at a young age become scarred for life by their early success and fame and tend to compensate for the childhood they were deprived of during their later years in life.
