I am sure almost all of you have either been to or heard of SeaWorld. Today I am going to tell you about what they do to their orcas that they are trying to hide. I chose this topic after watching a documentary called “Blackfish” that goes into the behind the scenes of how SeaWorld treats its animals. I have since done further research online to prepare for this presentation. This is an important topic because you should know what kind of company you are funding and behaviors you are endorsing when you go on your vacations to this destination. Today I am going to persuade you that SeaWorld is corrupt and maltreats its animals, specifically the orcas. First, I will talk about the specific way the orcas are treated and how it affects them

Picture a stunning sandy beach, waves lapping on the shoreline and the sun setting on the horizon creating a breathtaking atmosphere. The never-ending golden sand stretching as far as the eye can see. This is Australia.
Underwater shark nets make us feel safer at the beach, but are we? That’s the question. Are we safe? There are lots of possibilities that the shark, with sharp like knife teeth, may outsmart us. Because of shark attacks we use nets, called shark nets. However, that doesn’t mean nets used in the past prevented shark attacks. These nets don’t only trap sharks they trap other sea creatures.
Jurassic Park is the story of how one man’s idea puts many lives in danger. With lots of experimentation, scientists who worked for him were able to extract blood from prehistoric mosquitoes and other biting insects caught in amber then examine it for foreign blood cells. After that, they would extract them. Doing that, they could obtain DNA of extinct animals; dinosaurs who have been extinct for millions of years. Through a long process, they could recreate dinosaurs. Jurassic Park is a book full of suspense and horrifying murders. I wouldn’t recommend this book to everyone, but just people who enjoy science fiction and suspense. I also recommend not read Dennis Nedry’s death multiple times because it’s gross and...just gross. But other than that, I would give this five dinosaurs out of five dinosaurs!

Jurassic Park is a fantastic movie for its life-like re-creation of dinosaurs and its outstanding use of computer generated images and sounds. From the first scene where dinosaurs enter the frame to the last, they bring a level of excitement to the screen like only the mighty T-Rex does. Industrial Light and Magic and Stan Winston’s

John Hammond’s amusement park is dedicated to making live dinosaur specimens available to view to the paying public by genetically splicing prehistoric DNA. To test out his park and prove to investors it is safe and real, he invites two paleontologists, Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, his two grandchildren, Tim and Lex, and a mathematician, Ian Malcolm. While the guests are on a tour of the dinosaurs, a greedy self, obsessed computer programmer named Dennis Nedry shuts the security and power off using a trap door he built into his computer code, in order to steal valuable embryos of the dinosaurs in the park. While trying to flee from the park to deliver the embryos to a competing genetics company, Nedry comes across a few dilophosaurs, who have escaped, because along with security, the electric fences (to harbor the animals) has been shut off. The dilophosaurs leisurely kill Nedry by first spitting him in the eye with poisonous spit to make him blind, and then devouring him. Meanwhile, the guests are attacked by an escaped tyrannosaur. Throughout the last half of the book, Hammond and his assistants try to re-establish electric power, while Grant and Hammond’s two grandchildren fight and outsmart dinosaurs to make it back to the main headquarters. In the end, Hammond dies from a dinosaur attack, along with seven other island visitors. His employees and guests are taken in to Costa Rican custody. A herd of velociraptors escapes from the island and the Costa Rican government kills the remaining dinosaurs.
Australia is a country in which everyone is allowed to live together peacefully and practice their religions and celebrate their cultures. All in all, Australia is a country that accepts everyone’s differences and welcomes them with open arms. However, not all Australians understand their peers. The LGBT+ community has been fighting for their rights for years and they’ve been fighting to be seen as a normal person for an even longer time. Whilst they discrimination is nowhere near as bad as what it was 10 to 20 years ago, we as Australian’s are still so far from letting those of different sexuality a part of our community. There are people who misunderstand homosexuals, transgender and bisexuals amongst other sexualities. Bisexuals are being called greedy by their coworkers. Transgender men and women are being referred ‘it’ instead of a person. Homosexuals
Do you ever feel uncomfortable or embarrassed while reading aloud with your class? Many students and parents do not approve of some of the material that the English department desires to teach. Although they most definitely should, sadly , they have no choice. A novel that has started an endless amount of controversy over the years is To Kill a Mockingbird. I am going to prove to you that To Kill a Mockingbird is not a novel that should be taught in schools because it contains triggering discuss of rape, repeadetly states the n-word, and delivers gender roles.
Across the lanes, racers started their engines. “3… 2… 1… GO!”(5) In a matter of seconds, the dinosaurs were around the bend. Even before the race began, everyone knew it would be a two-man match. They swerved in and out, and the fight for the lead alternated every few seconds. “I’m going to beat you today!” Tyrone shouted, flashing the same little smirks as before.
