Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, has yet to be discovered as in depth as Juno will. NASA New Frontiers recently established the Juno Mission to observe Jupiter (Ionescu 1). The spacecraft is currently on route to Jupiter and it is set to arrive in 2016. Juno will orbit Jupiter thirty-three times total before shutting down (Ionescu 1). Juno will observe Jupiter with deeper observation than can be seen by a telescope. The Juno Spacecraft is a project made to discover Jupiter’s high winds, a possible water source, and the planetary structure.
NASA New Frontiers is a program that is dedicated to deep observation of the solar system (discoverynewfrontiers.nasa.gov). Lockheed Martin is an advanced technology development company that built Juno for NASA (lockheedmartin.com). Though Lockheed Martin did build the spacecraft, Juno’s parts were gathered from all over the world (missionjuno.swri.edu). Juno was also tested in designated rooms to see if Juno could withstand the possible conditions of its trip and if it would need to be adjusted.
Dr. Scott Bolton from the Southwestern Research Institute is responsible for the entire Juno mission (swri.org). The Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California was put in charge of managing the mission after Lockheed Martin constructed the spacecraft (absoluteastronomy.com). Juno was given its name from Greco-Roman mythology. The god Jupiter hid himself in a thick veil of clouds to cause mischief but his wife, Juno, was able to see through the clouds and observe Jupiter’s true self (absoluteastronomy.com).
Juno was originally scheduled for a June 2009 launch, but was postponed to an August 2011 launch (Ionescu welcometospaceblog.com). Juno was given a certain time frame to launch, cal...

How does the film Juno by Jason Reitman subvert audience expectations of a typical ‘teen film’?
The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory or SOHO for short is a cooperative joint effort by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the U. S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The main mission of this project is to study the internal structure of the Sun, its extensive upper atmosphere, as well as to determine the origin and characteristics of the solar wind.

Uranus is so far away that scientists knew comparatively little about it before NASA's Voyager 2 undertook its historic first encounter with the planet. The spacecraft flew closely past distant Uranus, and came within 81,500 kilometers (50,600 miles) of Uranus's cloudtops on Jan. 24, 1986. Voyager 2 radioed thousands of images and mass amounts of other scientific data about Uranus, its moons, rings, atmosphere, interior and magnetic environment. However, while Voyager has revealed much about the gas giant, many questions remain to be answered.
It is without a doubt that the most fascinating thing about space is the possibility of life elsewhere beside Earth. It is estimated that the Milky Way Galaxy itself contains about 300 billion stars. Each star contains planets and some planets might even have moons. With these findings, the question is no longer whether life exists elsewhere. The probability that Earth is the only place where life exists in the universe is far too slim. NASA has identified many planets that have similar conditions to Earth but most of these planets are hundreds of light years away so traveling there to find out if there’s any living organism is not easy. Luckily, scientific evidences have pointed out that one of the moons of Jupiter, Europa, could be one of the places where life can exist. If the theories proposed by astronomers about Europa are true, life on Europa might not even be entirely different than life near the bottom of Earth’s oceans.

Venus, the second planet closest to the Sun and Earth’s closest neighbor, is known for its many wonders and harsh conditions. Venus is possibly the first planet discovered by humans and is said to have been first discovered in 17 B.C. by Babylonian astronomers. Venus is the first planet to be explored by spacecraft although many of these attempts have proven unsuccessful. Fortunately, more than twenty of the spacecraft explorations been proven successful, and through those we have gained knowledge about this wonder of the night sky.
In the past years, many space probes have been launched for many different reasons. They have visited all of the planets in our solar system besides Pluto. The earliest space probes to be launched in the United States were the Mariner Series. They investigated Mercury, Venus, and Mars. The Mariner II flew within 35,400 km of the surface of Venus. (1) It sent information back to Earth about Venus’s atmosphere, rotation period, and information on its magnetic field. Mariner 10 has been the only space probe to reach Mercury so far. Another space probe, Helios I came within
Orbiting Jupiter is about 2 people named Joseph and Madeleine. He never knew what love was until he met Madeleine and everyone doubted that he actually did love her. They have a baby who is being set up for adoption. After Madeline is gone, no one allows Joseph to see his baby but, Joseph doesn’t let that happen. Joe does everything he can to see his baby and he will not let her go up for adoption without a fight! Joseph loses a lot of people that he loved in his life and he wouldn’t deal with that anymore. He would do everything in his power to get his child back.
Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun. It includes 4 rings. It has 67 moons too. The surface temperature is -108 degrees celsius. Jupiter is the fourth shiniest object in the the sky. Jupiter has the shortest amount of days, hence 9 hours and 55 minutes. Jupiter will orbit the sun every 118 Earth years. The red spot on Jupiter is an enormous storm on the planet. The storm has occurred for 350 years. 3 Earths can fit in the red
By being in a very technologically advanced era, scientists can invent revolutionary devices never thought of. NASA is doing that right now and has been doing that since it began. They are not only climbing the stairs in space exploration but in the medical industry, too. Nevertheless, they are forever changing millions of lives by using all they have discovered. Most of all, they are teaching people a life lesson, to always use the things you have for the greater good. NASA has achieved profound success ever since their start in 1958 and they will continue to make discovery and innovation their first and foremost goal for years to come.
