As a student at Ridgeway Middle School, I understand that my academic performance and achievement are the results of my hard work and dedication, which led to the opportunity of me becoming a leader and member of the National Junior Honor Society. By obtaining a GPA of 3.6 and higher, I strongly believe that I have met expectations and requirements to honorably become a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Additionally, I have participated in many competitions, let alone studying and school commitment. Aside from studying, I have dedicated some of my spare time by participating and being active in school competitions and activities, or extracurricular activities (so to speak). These extra-curricular activities have strengthen my leadership,
I am writing to inform you of my possible contributions to the National Honor Society and my interest in becoming a member. I view myself as a strong minded individual with a strong incentive to learn. Acquiring the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly has enabled me to be a part of a wide range of organizations. My participation and loyalty to the NHS could result in a great strive forward. I could provide more ideas of services to benefit the school and our community. I would also devote a large portion of my free time to the organization and assist in any way possible. Whether that means coming in early in the morning or staying late after school, I would do any means necessary to show my commitment.
I wish to take the time to give thanks for this impeccable opportunity in applying for the highly sought after National Honor Society. I have been looking forward to embarking on this journey since I heard about this organization freshman year. I am truly elated to be one of the many students that qualifies, as I know the standards of excellence and character that must be exemplified and met.
Being nominated for National Junior Honor Society is a highly prestigious honor, and I am very grateful to be a candidate. To be a member of this prestigious organization means so much to me just to be invited to be one of its members. Leadership is a great skill to have. So, by being a member of this group I would be showing leadership. I am also a hard worker and a great role model who always helps others. I am confident in my leadership qualities and want to help the community. I plan to demonstrate leadership, create enthusiasm, and develop character for academic excellence while participating in NJHS. Whenever I set a goal, I am certain to achieve it. With my outstanding personality and traits, I plan to be useful to NJHS and my school.

Being chosen for National Honor Society is a great honor, as it has proved that from my childhood till now my hard work has paid off. From the beginning of high school, as a freshman to now a junior, I have always pushed myself to do better, but not better than others, better than myself. I had competition with myself and my past grades, as I emboldened myself to do better than each of my past marking period grades. Being a potential candidate of the National Honor Society is a distinction that I greatly honor. I wish to be a member of the prestigious group for the various benefits to myself, my school, and my community. A member of my family was a former member of the National Honor Society; he has mentioned many positive benefits of being a member and how being a member is beneficial to the community. Due to my exemplary qualities of a National Honor Society member, I am qualified to be part of the chapter.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
I was very excited when I heard that I had been invited into National Junior Honors Society. The first time I heard of NJHS, it instantly became a goal of mine. When my older sister left for college I was very sad, so I think that this is a way for me to keep a part of her. I have always been that little girl no one understood, because I’m always very excited to learn and get back to school after summer break. I’m very happy to see that I’ve been invited, but this is why I should be accepted.
National Junior Honor Society as a nation premier organization started to recognize outstanding middle-level students. NJHS is a way to honor students who have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of excellence in the areas of the five pillars which are, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. This organization that was started in 1929 is a great opportunity for me to show my family and teachers how hard I work to get this far. I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary student who are being considered for this program. This organization the so many great things in society, and knowing that I could potentially be a part of it and play a part in futuring the impression that the organization has already made. I am a determined student, and will do anything to do my absolute best even when something hard is thrown my way. Scholarship, leadership, character, and service are four attributes that define an excellent student. Being in high school, it’s difficult at times to be a leader, show your character, and be involved with voluntary services while being focused on scholarship, but I have managed to do all four numerous times. National Honor Society is constructed upon four fundamental pillars: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Each one is an important quality and is demonstrated throughout the organization’s leaders and members. They are taught and respected because of their huge impacts departed on the chapter’s surrounding schools and communities. Before I joined N.H.S., I displayed the four pillars in varies activities, groups, studies, and events. My acceptance into N.H.S presented many new prospects for me to join other organizations and projects. However, I still lacked in my confidence and could improve each attribute.

The opportunity to join this organization has opened my eyes of all the hard work, classes and grades that I earned.
