An aristotelian tragic hero is something related to Aristotle. Brutus is a well-known tragic hero from Rome. He follows the way of an aristotelian tragic hero because he is a literary character who makes a judgment error that inevitably leads to his/her own destruction. He was deceived into ending the life of Julius Caesar. Later on he relishes his mistake and takes his own life, in the name of his dead friend.
Marcus Junius Brutus was a politician of the late Roman Republic. He as admired by many Romans and trusted by most. His love of Rome was known by all. It was his strength, but it was also his greatest weakness. Brutus was a good friend to Julius Caesar, another Roman politician,. Julius was a man of great intelligence and a man many also admired. Brutus loved Rome and was sadly tricked by conspirators to end Julius Caesar's life. The conspirators ended up convincing Brutus that Caesar was too ambitious and was going to enslave Rome with the power he had.
