The family was strewn around the floor. Juice was running down the hallway. Police cars were lined up, blocking the streets. The police were surrounding the bodies while the chief examined the room. The room they were in looked as if a tornado had come through. The glass sliding door was shattered from a chair that was thrown through. A coffee table was furred on its side, the lamp that was on it shattered. The walls had several holes in them. One of the smaller holes had a leg of a coffee table stuck in it. When he was done examining the room he went to the bodies. As he was walking the others made sure to make a path for him. When he got to the bodies he stopped. He started to examine them. There were teeth marks on all the bodies. There
Upon my arrival, I heard several people yelling at each other from outside of the door. As I entered the house, I notice a man standing next to the couch with blood on his hands and running down the side of the left temple. The man was then identified as Brandon Clodfelter. At this time I detained Brandon and as I moved to the first bedroom on the right in the hallway, I notice blood on the outside of the door. As I enter the bedroom, I see an older woman sitting on the ground with blood running down her forearm. The woman was then identified as Nicole Clodfelter, the mother of Brandon Clodfelter. Also, standing in the living room was Michael Clodfelter, the father of Brandon. At this point I called for Acadian.
Strange things began to happen the next couple days. First, Joey was in the living room of Grandma’s house making a jig saw puzzle. He heard the sound of a horses hooves walking slowly on the street then the sound stopped in front of the house and heard someone put something in Grandma’s mail box. Joey heard the horse walk away and a little while later Grandma’s mailbox blew up. Next, Ms. Wilcox’s outhouse was destroyed by a cherry bomb. Then, a dead mouse was found floating in the bottle of milk that was delivered to the front
The Haunting of Hill House is a gothic horror novel written by Shirley Jackson. Supernatural occurrences take place within the house revolving around Eleanor. Eleanor is a thirty-two-year-old woman who never once has felt the sense of inclusion. Eleanor seems to never recall the feeling of delight in her adult years due to the fact that she was a caretaker for her now deceased Mother; who took away most of her freedom by being incredibly restrictive. Dr. Montague, a doctor that specializes in analysis of the supernatural rents Hill House, a supposedly haunted house. During the renting period, Dr. Montague begins an experiment inviting individuals who have had involvement in abnormal events
Randall Blighton saw a silhouette of an infant in the vans window which now he says was a car seat. He felt that he couldn’t just pass by after he had just dropped off his own children with their mother. When he first arrived by the van he set out flares to make sure that everybody knew that the van was there. He then went to open the drivers side door and found that a woman’s purse was jammed between the accelerator and the firewall, that would explain the continually motion forward. He could see that a figure was lying across the front seat and that the head was tucked into the chest just over the passenger seat. He could see that the figure had on one loafer type on one foot that looked feminine. As he searched to turn on the emergency flashers and was unable to find them, not knowing that they were over head. He felt the floor to see if there was a baby. However, as he felt around he realized that the floor and seats of the van and realized why it was so hard to see through the drivers side window that was splattered with something dark, blood. Nevertheless, he felt it was more important to keep searching to find the baby instead of stopping. He shuddered and didn’t get how there could be so much blood in the van if it hadn’t been hit by another vehicle. Randall then hopped in the drivers seat and moved the van on to the shoulder of 79th where it met sunset highway.

I searched until I heard a story that gave me the chills. It comes from right around the block from where I live on campus, at one of the sorority houses at the University of Maryland. I collected this story the weekend of April 2nd, at my fraternity house. I asked my friend, a junior from Pikesville, if she knows any ghost stories. Her face lit up as if she was dying to tell me this story since the first time we ever met. She asked “you never heard the story of the ghost in the sorority house?” I replied no. The normally quiet woman demanded my attention away from the TV and went into her story.
The Nelly Butler hauntings is referred to as the first recorded ghost story in American history (LiBrizzi 5), and possibly the most exciting hauntings to date as there are still many unsolved mysteries. The apparition appeared on more than 30 separate occasions to over 100 witnesses in Sullivan, Maine, just over fifteen years after the American Revolution (5-6). Although the Nelly Butler apparition is one of the most convincing ghosts of all time, it was subject to suspicions of fraud. These claims turn out to be groundless as the evidence reveals the ghost to be genuine.
They called the police and they came to investigate. A teenage boy came forward and told police that he had overheard a conversation between some girls about how they knew about another girl getting killed. As investigators were discussing the case they got a call about how Toni Lawrence was at the Madison police station hysterical saying she wanted to talk about the case. This is when Lawrence told the above account of the murder to police and what eventually led to the arrest of all 4 girls. But she did leave out some details. The autopsy showed that Shanda was tied at her arms and legs, her legs were cut repeatedly, she had been beaten and stabbed multiple times, sodomized and then burned (Grossman 1992, Lewis 1993). They also found out she was alive when she was dropped off. Her death was caused smoke inhalation and server burns. Warrants were sent out for the arrest of Tackett and Loveless for murder. The other two were not immediately arrested because Lawrence came forward and Rippers attorney old them he’d bring his client to the station. After hearing about the murder, the town was shocked. Madison was voted the safest place to live yet there was just a horrific murder. The judge, defendant, and prosecutors have never dealt with a murder case before since the town was known to be so safe. The town was not comfortable with words like “lesbian” yet and didn’t know what to think about

It seems as though the intruder did not bring a weapon and instead used the vase right beside the resident. Since he did not bring a weapon, I do not think the intruder planned on killing anybody. Once the resident is killed, the intruder goes after what he came for: the hard drive. He looks through the papers on the desk with his bloody hands, and finally finds the hard drive case. He takes it out and puts it away. He then exits the same way he came, leaving the body. Since he did not think he would kill anybody, the murderer doesn’t think to move the body. So, he leaves the body and the rest of the evidence behind. Finally, since he did not want the blood to get in the hallways, the murderer broke through the window. The window was broken with a heavy object. It could be broken with a big rock or just an elbow. However, there is no rock left behind in the room, so we know he didn’t throw the rock into the room. We do not know if the room was on the ground floor, or if the resident had a second floor and slept up there. If it was just a one level home,it would be easy for the intruder to get a rock and hit it against the window, or to just use his
The four McKee brothers were going camping. When they got to the campsite the two youngest, Mike and Jason, were responsible for setting up the tents and the two oldest, Luke and Aaron, were responsible for setting up the rest. Once they were done, they decided to go on a hike through the forest. An hour through the hike they came upon a old abandoned looking house. Aaron came up to the door and knot. No one answer so Aaron opened the door slowly and yelled “Hello anybody here!” and again no one answered. They split into groups, with Luke and Mike take the upstairs and Aaron and Jason took the main level. They took a few minutes to look around but found nothing. As Aaron and Jason were about to head up stair they saw Mike running down and outside around the corner they try to follow be couldn’t. They yelled and yelled for Mike but no answer. They looped back to the house. They heard footsteps upstairs and thought it was Luke. As Aaron and Jason were heading upstairs they saw blood on the floor and it was fresh blood they followed the blood trail till the blood went under a door the look at
...wly walks down the stairs, while she tries to crawly to the door. He sands over her. She looks up at him. A smile covers his face. He picks up his gun and aims it at her head. This haunted house in Hagerstown was built long ago. It is the site of a most interesting ghost story, which happened to my friend’s friend’s grandmother. Now while I have heard many stories similar to this, I have never known someone to be involved in one and actually affected by it. My friend’s friend is a Caucasian, 17-year-old, female Christian from Hagerstown. Her dad is a postal worker, and her mother works for the government. The story takes place in the house her grandmother temporarily lived in as a child. I collected this story while I was hanging out with my friend in her room. I happened to mention this assignment, and in comes one of her friends with a story to tell:
