As a child, a young John Smith witnesses the death of his parents at the hands of a crazed criminal, Rodney Alcala. Due to the insufficient evidence, Rodney Alcala, was released from custody. Rodney Alcala died from a heart attack two years later. Police found trophies at this home from over a dozen murders. It was determined that he was a serial killer known as Keychain Strangler.
John Smith didn't have any other family. He was placed in the foster care system. John Smith was adapted several times. But, he never stayed long in one home. One day before the trial Maria Hernandez was found dead together with two sheriff's protecting her. Her throat was cut, and her tongue was cut out. On the day of the trial Rick Rossetti was released due to the insufficient evidence. That was the day when John Smith realized what he had to do. What he had to become. Three weeks later Rick Rossetti was found dead at his Miami Beach penthouse. His head was separated from his body, and placed inside the Fireplace. On top of the fireplace there was one word written in blood, "Cerberus". Over the next year several other abusers, rapists, murderers were found dead. With one simple word left as a clue, "Cerberus".
