No body of government truly has a truly perfect image in the U.S., but in particular is the congress. There are quite a few theories as to why Congress has a bad public image. Congress may have a poor public image but if it weren’t for it’s own members speaking ill of the institution then the image problem could easily be fixed.
A couple of weeks ago, Papa John’s officially announced a multi-year sponsorship with Major League Baseball becoming the “Official Pizza of Major League Baseball”. Papa John’s is activating this sponsorship in a way that is makes both parties’ mouths water. In this unique sponsorship activation, Papa John’s is offering 40% off their pizza the day following every grand slam hit in the MLB this season (Forbes). This deal is as former Seattle Mariners announcer Dave Neihaus would say, “a grand salami!” (or pepperoni or whatever topping you prefer). Papa John’s replaces Domino’s as the “big cheese” in the pizza industry of Major League Baseball sponsorships after Domino’s had a very unsuccessful activation of their sponsorship with the MLB. Last season Domino’s gave out free pizza for the first two no-hitters of the year (which is already a rare occurrence) but to make matters worse, Domino’s did not issue free pizza to thousands of hungry baseball fans. However, the public was introduced to the first international restaurant opening in 1998 by the way of “Perfect Pizza” in the United Kingdom (www.papajohns.com, 2017). Regardless, Papa John’s is a significant player in the pizza industry they continuously want to know what the future pizza industry will hold for them.
