Through out her life, Eleanor Roosevelt had served the world. She helped so many people by doing simple work with Human Rights. Laura Jane Addams did not have much of a hard life except the fact she grew up without her real mother, other than that she had more of a privileged life than others. Also, being disabled and having to quit medical school because of her crooked spine, she still made something of her life. Addams helped many types of people, the poor, the children, and for women to have their rights. Nobody could not have recognized her ambition and thoughtfulness for others because it was everywhere.
Kara is such an inspirational woman and wished all women would openly talk about the issue and not be conditioned to not share their struggles and experiences so others can benefit. Her story touched me, because I have family member who’s still going through this issue and see the fear and hopelessness in her eyes when there is commercial or someone mentions that topic. She had created a platform to help women not feel isolated and empower them to share which gave Kara peace and feel like she’s not the only one.
Bette Greene was born on June 28, 1934, in Memphis, Teneesee. Although she was born in Memphis, Bette grew up in Parkin, Arkansas. She lived during the Great Depression and World War II. Her and her family were of Jewish faith which didn't bode them too well in the very dense Christian community they resided in. She was constantly put under descrimination because of it. Her parents owned a store and so did her grandparents. The parents however, were rarely there to care for her so Bette was mostly cared for by her African-American housekeeper named “Ruth”. Later in life, her and her parents moved back to Memphis where she attended highscool. Her grades were lackluster especially when it came to English since she had trouble with small grammatical mistakes as well as spelling errors. This didn't stop her however, from writing for the school. After graduating, she studied in France for a bit, then came back to Tennessee. She then went
I don’t remember Carolyn Roberts very well, but I do remember a few things. I remember her weird green eyes. They weren’t like anything I’d ever seen. They were bright green and clashed with the orange cardigan she always wore, which looked really strange with her tan skin. Also, I remember her brown hair. It was always in a messy bun and looked as if she had just wrestled an alligator. The last thing I remembered about her, but the most important, was her name. It was all over the trophies in the trophy case, all over the minds of the teachers who feel proud to have taught her, all over the lips of the news reporters announcing her murder

"I think what saved me is being honest. I think I somehow had the courage to do something and to say something that I knew would possibly end my career.
