Seinfeld used to be one of the most watched television shows in the world. Some of its characters such as Kramer and Jerry became household names. With each character having a comic flare and so much character development, it was definitely a show to be reckoned with. It was so big that Jerry made one million dollars a episode, while his co-stars were paid six hundred thousand per episode. Although this show was not being made when I was born, I watched one episode of it and have been eagerly excited about it every since then. I love to see how each of the characters are developed and learn how much work ethic they put in to make these comic roles so successful. Also, my favorite character is Kramer because I see that I have a lot of similarities

This chapter breaks from the plot progression and focuses on Jerry remembering his mother's illness and death. She was a hard-working, passionate woman, and it was incredibly difficult to watch. During her illness, Jerry and his dad grew estranged. Jerry felt his father was sleepwalking through that period of time. Cormier describes a scene at Jerry's mother's funeral in which Jerry and his father shared their first and last moment of emotion, crying and hugging at the cemetery.

Watching as Judge Hunter enters the courtroom, Jerry thought about the power one single man had over so many people’s lives. I wonder if he ever considers the enormous power he possesses. Jerry told his parents about Mrs. Sanford and they decided to take her to court. It was nothing but a misdemeanor. She went to jail for 2 weeks. Mrs. Sanford got out and came back to his class and still was allowed back.
“I woke up from the nightmares with a cold fear,” she said. “I came to a point where I didn’t want to die, but just wanted to be dead.”
Four days later jerry went back to the cabin to cut wood and do some chores for the narrator. While jerry was talking to her he gave her the gloves that he got for her. She was happy, but the she told jerry "why have you been lying to me?" Jerry was looking worried and said " what do you mean ?". She, the narrator, told him everything that the lady at the orphanage said. after she said " why didn't you say that you don't have a mother " Jerry stood quietly thinking when he said " I didn't want to tell you anything, because i didn't want you to feel bad for me ". After these words she felt a deep emotion.
“I won’t. I won’t rest until I see King Icarius Lupin dead and writhing on the floor in pain. He’ll pay for torturing you and those countless other innocents.”
