Following her separation from M&M Contractors Storms started her own business, however, former clients became extremely upset and concerned about the status of their construction projects when they were notified that Storms had left the company. Some of these former clients contacted Storms and expressed their desire to only work with her to complete their home projects. These individuals are Liz Gustafson and Amy Teis. Amy agreed to help these individuals complete the design work on their homes. One particular event occurred when Gustafson reached out to Storms about the stairs and flooring in her garage. At that time, none of the details related to the stairs or flooring has been finalized, there were no orders pending at Galaxy flooring. Storms picked out two flooring options and sent them to Liz to approve. Liz made her selection but Storms relayed to her that she would have to go to Galaxy Flooring to obtain information related to pricing and other matters because the extent of her involvement was limited to recommending flooring …show more content…
It is not Storms desire to interfere with M&M Contractors’ contract with Gustafson. Instead, she merely sought to help a friend make design choices. Storms in no way changed any orders with Galaxy Flooring or any other subcontractor. Storms relied upon the request of Ms. Gustafson that she continue to help her complete her home. I believe that there are aligned interest in allowing Storms to continue to providing design consulting services to Gustafson until the project is completed later next week. The client clearly desires to work with Storms. M&M Contractors would benefit from satisfying their clients desire to finish the project with the designer that they have come to trust. M&M Contractors has never disputed the quality of Storms work, should M&M Contractors allow Storms to continue to advise Gustafson that arrangement would terminate upon completion of the

Renee Heikamp, 19, and case worker from the Catholic Children’s Aid Society (CCAS), Angie Martin, were charged with criminal negligence resulting in the 1997 death of newborn baby, Jordan Heikamp. The charges were dropped shortly after Jordan’s death, due to a lack of evidence from the investigation of a 63-day inquest. (CBC, 2001). Renee Heikamp and her baby were residing at the Anduhyaun shelter that services Aboriginal women fleeing abuse during the time of his death. Jordan Heikamp had starved to death, weighing only 4 pounds, 4 ounces less than what he weighed at his pre-mature birth, in May 1997; a photograph shown to witnesses at the inquest revealed the corpse of the baby who was little more than a skeleton.

Carla Washburn, an incredible, inspirational woman that has sadly witnessed the 3 closest male figures in her life all pass on. This has resulted in Carla becoming depressed over the unbearable experience. Carla embraced in giving back to the community and that’s not surprising because she’s a person of spirituality. While, Carla is the client and is suffering through grief, it’s likely she’d benefit immensely from creating a program to work with the kids in the community and may give her a sense of worth she’s been seeking since these 3 tragedies.
