The Philosophy Behind the Theory of Human Caring:
Dr. Jean Watson’s Perspective on Nursing Practice

Dr. Watson’s theory has been applied to past and present nursing practice, and should continue to be understood and used in future practice (Watson, 2001, p. 345-349).
