However, I don’t think that is why you are reading this paper. You’re reading this paper to get to know a little more about how I,Jayden Rose, found myself to be the person I am as of current. Well, how embarrassing for you! Haven’t you heard all the sob stories previous to this. I guess you haven’t, so I will go into mine.
“If life doesn’t kill you, emptiness will,” a quote that has followed for a very long time. At a young age I was given many obstacles in life that required a level of maturity that a 6 year old really shouldn’t have to deal with. At

that time I was living state by state and had just “settled,” in Detroit, Michigan. As you have probably heard that is not the best city in the world, especially being currently ranked #1 as the most violent city in America. I've seen countless of murders but nothing could have saved me from the physical and emotional abuse I experienced at home. The saying, “If you keep campaigning for this ass whooping, you're gonna get elected,” is put to a entirely different meaning when it came to my life. Apparently I was always running for president.
When I was aggressively,despite my will, moved out to Georgia I found myself abandoned by my gaurdian. My eldest brother proceeded to call the Police to which they responded to place me and my brothers into a foster home where we stayed for several months. Talk about an exciting couple of months. After that brief intermission in my life, I lived with my very adoring aunt. My brothers went and lived with their respectful father's.
Growing up not knowing my dad, I one day decided to call him and to go live with him. As if I hadn’t moved enough in my short 12 years of life, I was soon uprooted from my home in Lawrenceville, Georgia to live with my very accepting father. This was a very big move in my life so imagine my sorrow when I realized I was going to have to deal with the devil’s advocate. Not to say my, “Stepmonster,” is evil but if I was drowning in a pool and she could save me, she would let me die to collect the insurance money. Not only did I have to deal with the devil’s playmate I had to deal with the all time greatest failure of America which is the social dynamic of school.
When is say that middle school for me was purgatory. I mean my bestfriend was the school administrator. Better yet, the janitor and the school librarian use to buy me lunch. Don’t get me wrong I’ve always been a excellent student but, friends weren’t always easy for me to make. So, I did what I could and powered through the struggles to find myself depressed and alone. I literally couldn’t tell you how many therapists I’ve seen since the age of 9.
So, when asked about the history of me, I give a small glance into my crappy hellhole of a life. “Life goes on, whether you choose to move on and take a chance on the unknown. Or stay behind,locked in the past, thinking of what could’ve been.” What I’ve learned is eventually life has to go on. So of course mine did to. Therefore, hopefully this paper was all you were hoping for.
