Like previously said, Jabba would kill his enemies in his torture chamber not only for his desire of violence, but also his selfish desire for entertainment. Also in Jabba’s short cameo in the sixth movie, Jabba decides to keep Leah alive as a prostitute who’s only job is to please Jabba. This use of prostitution of females is how Jabba can please his sexual urges. In fact, Jabba had multiple prostitutes and dancers, proving furthermore how he focuses on satisfying his personal needs. He has no real perception of reality and seeks to satisfy its needs through what Freud called the primary processes that dominate the existence of younglings. Ironically, towards the end of Jabba’s chameo, Leah ends up killing Jabba with the chain that was used to keep her tied to him. To make matters even worse for Jabba, Luke ends up killing all of Jabba’s people and destroys his palace, escaping with Han and the rest of their gang in the

“ SOmetimes it’s the smallest decisions that can change your life forever.” Keri Russell. In the novel “ The Wednesday Wars” by Gary D Schmidt Hollings father decides that his sister is not going to college. Although Mr.Hoodhood has said no Heather can still make her own decisions according to what she wants in her life, so that she makes the results of her life and changes what she wants to change. In this situation heather has been beaten, but I think that Mr.hoodhood is wrong because you should go to college no matter how old you are. Just because your parent says you can’t do something doesn’t mean you can’t do it as an adult.

Abuse is a subject that should be considered important. There are about 960,000 abuse incidents reported annually. 85% of them are reported by women. The resting 15% are reported by men. In Fried Green Tomatoes, abuse is a recurring part of the book, Fannie Flagg does an admirable job in describing in detail the abuse incidents that happen throughout the book. Ruth is a character that receives abuse from her husband, she believes she deserves everything he does to her, even push her down the stairs. She finally takes the decision to escape from the abusive relationship she is in when her near death mother advices her to. Along the way characters develop some effects caused by abuse. People who suffer from abuse may develop fear, low self-esteem, or strength.
I think Fly Guy was very hungry, but he never stopped and he thing best thing to eat. Firstly, He never gave up even when everybody told him to leave and to get away from their food. In the book it states that the boy, girl, and old lady yelled at him and told him to leave. Even though they told him to leave he never stopped looking for food and his friend; Fly Guy is very brave not to give on something he wants. Secondly, I think he always love his best friend very much. In the book it said when he came home he started to look for his friend but he was nowhere to be found. This can infer that he does care about his friend. So, the moral of the story is that if you always work hard and never give up, you will get what you want.
Cool Hand Luke was based on the experiences of Lucas Jackson, a war hero who returned to the United States. Lucas is sentenced to prison after he is caught drunkenly cutting the heads off of parking meters for no apparent reason. For this offense, Lucas is given a sentence of two years at a notorious Florida prison camp run by a hard-core warden. Initially, Lucas is not well liked by either the guards or inmates due to the fact that he sees himself as an independent and ignores the pecking order in the prison. The reputation of Lucas begins to change when he shows resilience in a boxing match with Dragline, the alpha male inmate. His reputation is cemented when he bluffs at poker with a losing hand, earning him the name “Cool Hand Luke”. From this point forward Luke is revered by the other inmates and looked at as a leader and role model.

“All The President’s Men” Quote Analysis In the movie “All The President’s Men”, Managing Editor Ben Bradlee tells Woodstein, “Nothing’s riding on this except the First Amendment of the Constitution, freedom of the press and maybe the future of the country.” This quote can be analyzed in a few ways. First of all, Bradlee is being sarcastic. The First Amendment, the freedom of the press, and the future of the country are all going to be affected if Woodward and Bernstein get the story wrong.

Media makes celebrities seem as if they live life facing no problems or hardships. In reality, they do not live a perfect life, but that characteristic of celebrities' life tends to go unseen. In Charles Dickens’s, A Tale of Two Cities, Dickens develops Mr. Lorry into a character where business engulfes his life. Mr. Lorry continually tries to suppress his emotions using many different strategies. Even though business is always Mr. Lorry’s top priority, he always has a special place in his heart for the people he cares about, the Manette’s. Through the use of characterization and dialogue, Charles Dickens uses Mr. Lorry to promote how humanity overrides one’s business side no matter how hard they try to suppress it.

...eruption of violence. Though we do not see any abuse in this first chapter, Kambili’s fear is palpable. Her concern for the well-being of her brother signifies not only the punishments they have received in the past, but also that Jaja’s behavior is new. This is a coming of age story for Jaja as well.
