Although many people cheat throughout life whether it be in sports, politics, or in school, the results gained from cheating is meaningless therefore, cheating is never justified. If there is a situation that someone is compelled to cheat, it could just mean that that person was not prepared enough to succeed in that situation. Because cheating is addictive, if one ever cheats even once, it will become a habit that is hard to get rid of. Cheating not only affects the cheater, but the people surrounding them so it does not make sense to involve others in your act of dishonesty. Cheating is never justified for it only proves the goods of others, could possibly drag others down, and cause them to lose what they deserved.

When people see how easy it is to cheat, whenever they are in a difficult situation, they will immediately think that they can escape by cheating. This kind of thinking will prevent people from trying harder, and soon they will try to solve everything by cheating instead of putting in their own time and effort. Adults who cheat probably cheated while they were still in school. Politicians may cheat by bribing people to gain advantage and the same thing goes for athletes. The athletes may bribe the referee or take drugs to enhance their performance. These are all risks that they are taking and they could end up losing everything if the things they did are found out. Cheaters who are exposed will receive a reputation damage which may be permanent. Even if that's not the case, if it looks like someone is helping another person cheat, that person will also be considered guilty and will be punished along with the cheater. If one was to cheat and get punished, that would make sense. In some cases, innocent people are falsely accused for helping others cheat and end up getting the same treatment as a cheater. Even if the person agreed to help, when their act of dishonesty is exposed, the cheater and the helper will both be punished.
