To a certain extent the movie would be interesting to a younger audience. It has the same type of plots that movies this day in age have, and it shows humor that most people would find funny. Reasons why it wouldn’t appeal to younger audiences would be that it is in black and white. Overall the film uses a variety of camera angles and seems to dramatize most of the actor’s actions as well as emotions. The camera also follows the actors as they move, and the acting seemed to convince the audience that they were real people in a real situation. The movie first addresses the protagonist’s relationship as despiteful and irritating, but they grow to like each other and end up falling in love, aside from them hating each other at

One Night the Moon (2001), is based on the events that took place in the harsh Australian outback in the early 1930s. The film evolves when a young girl, Emily, goes missing into the mountainous terrain of the Australian outback one night to follow the moon. Her family, European settlers, though desperate to find her, fail to employ the skills of a local Indigenous tracker, Albert Riley, due to their own racism. Perkins uses many literary elements such as camera angles, music, dialogue and editing to shape meaning and to influence her audience. One Night the Moon, introduces song into the Australian landscape, Indigenous people have always used song to talk about the land, and song itself has always been one of the central means of land management. One Night the Moon has been described as “A beautiful, seemless film with the ability to transport the audience.” Perkins endorses the idea that White settlers have failed to learn anything from the original inhabitants of this land and to support this statement, she layers the literary elements to highlight the racism, connection with the land and also contrasts the two male protagonists in the film.
The Birlings are holding a party to celebrate their daughter’s engagement with Gerald Croft. The pleasant scene is interrupted when a rather shady looking Inspector gives them a visit, investigating the suicide of a young working-class girl in her middle twenties. Each family member is interrogated and they all find out that they are somehow linked to the girl’s death.
The stunning premise is simply a young girl’s battle for survival against a brutal, retchless killer. Who, not for one second will let you take your eyes away from the screen. He stalks us, makes us feel the pain and not knowingly, he makes us scream for our life. It’s definitely not a setback, relax and enjoy kind of film but rather the opposite, in a good way. A bravura opening five minutes winds the tension up brillian...
The movie teaches us to look beyond the cover and into who someone is as a person. We also learn that sometimes contact with people makes us reconsider our judgement towards them, to find out the real person underneath.

The film is portrayed in the past and present scenario setting. It is based on a young couple’s love and passion for one another, but are unexpectedly separated due to the disapproval of the teen girl parents and the social differences in their life. While Annie still resides in Harlem, the film is influenced by the social and technological advancements of the time. One example of the influential power of social norms shines through in the form of foster care. Ditching a history of orphanage based child care, a modern Annie finds herself within the home of Colleen Hannigan. However, the current portrayal of a young Miss. Hannigan is consumed with the thoughts of her failed acting career and the search for love. With her sights set on herself, a new empowered Annie is able to slip through the cracks of Hannigan’s view. Taking advantage of her freedom, the young girl engages in a very manipulative and street smart nature by exploring the streets. Due to her almost pain free livelihood, Annie’s rise to the life of rich and powerful comes off as a small enhancement rather than a transformational change. Failing in both tension and climax, the modern adaptation takes away the inspirational nature of the
One major theme of the movie is thing aren’t always as they appear . The major character Briony in many instances misinterprets what she has witnessed and these misunderstanding ruin the life of the people she cares the most about. The first misunderstanding took place in her back yard where she finds her elder her sister played by Kiera Knightley undressing and jumping into a fountain .in front of her garden taker Robbie played by James McAvoy. Briony’s wild imagination allows her to believe Robbie and Cecilia were having a lover’s quarrel. When actually, Robby just broke the most expensive piece of china they owed and Cecilia jumped in to the fountain to retrieve the broken piece. This is exacerbated when Briony later intercepts an erotic letter written by Robbie, intended for Cecilia’s eyes only. This letter and the fact that she caught Robby and her sister having sexual relations in the library, makes Robbie appear to be “sex maniac”. So later on when her cousin Lola Quincy was raped she automatically assumes it to be the sex crazed gardener.
The movie starts off where one the characters is held at gun point. Of course we all wonder how he got there, so the narrator takes us back to where it all starts. We meet an unnamed character who has insomnia. We learn about his life and that he lives a pretty decent life. Of course, we would not have a movie if our main character was content with his life. There needs to be more conflict. Due to his insomnia, he takes up going to support groups that help people in need (i.e. men with testicular cancer, alcoholics, and dying people). He soon notices a lady named Marla Singer who is showing up at the same support groups he goes to even the one for testicular cancer. He catches onto her game simply because she shows up there. Later on he is on a business flight and meets another character named Tyler Durden who is very interesting. Our noname character gets home to find that someone has blown-up his condo, so he decides to call his “single serving friend” from the plane ride.
