Perhaps one of the hardest things to do in life is being able to control people psychologically it is especially hard controlling your surroundings. Is a well-known fact that usually the types of individuals that understand what goes on in an individual’s minds are psychological experts. On the other hand, there are evil minded people in this world that are very good at controlling people’s thoughts and taking advantage of their weaknesses and trust people have in them. In the play “Othello”, William Shakespeare shows readers that Iago is very intelligent because of how he manipulates and uses people’s mind that trusted him. Throughout the play, he plans to use his brilliance on his behalf to triumph over other characters of the play.
William Shakespeare’s play “Othello”, is play about jealousy, envy, trust, and revenge. In many of Shakespeare’s plays have a bad character who most readers may consider unworthy or irregular, especially with Iago, is probably has the most negative effect on other characters. Although a lot of people may think he evil but he is not that much of an evil human being. He is a normal human and accepted by his society and also a well recognizable character throughout most of Shakespeare’s play. Shakespeare fictionalizes him as an evil character and he became known to readers as sort of Satan and Machiavelli. Even Fred West has criticized people who see Iago as an insignificant person he said:

The analysis of other characters throughout William Shakespeare’s plays can be very easy evaluate, and quickly define what he or she really is. However, Iago is much different, even if Shakespeare is willing to publish another play, I don’t think he will be able to establish an intelligent character as Iago. For the simple fact he is very good at reading people’s minds, people having trust in him, and being consider as an evil man. It is sort having multiple personality but in a good way. He thinks quicker and better than many people nowadays that we consider smart. There are several ways you can define Iago, many readers may think he’s an evil person and some may think he is evil but with smart mind. Although, he has amazing thinking skills and he is highly intelligent, his name will continue to be recognized to readers throughout generations.
