Introduction
Is God actively involved with his creation? This is a question many ask themselves about God and his character. A firm foundational belief of Christians is that God is involved with is creation and everything he has created. After He finished his creation, He did not stop being involved. God has been active with his people and everything He created since the beginning of time. He is still to this day active and all around us, and this is such a beautiful thing. God has immersed himself with his creation and this differs from other religions. Jesus Christ is a God that craves intimate relationship with his children and this happens through God being involved in our lives and living inside our hearts. In the Bible, it is clearly shown that we as believers serve a God that chooses to be actively involved with His creation. For instance, Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” In this verses God informs us to not fear for He is with us. In this context, He is telling us He is actively involved with our lives and every detail of it. The word belief and doctrine, go hand and hand when discussing this. The word belief means “trust, faith, or belief in something or someone” and doctrine means, “a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a church, political party or other group” . God being actively involved with His creation is what the church of God believes and is what He has called His believers to follow as well. As Christians, it is wrong to pick and choose what we want to believe about our Savior and what we don’t want to. Wrapping our minds around the fact that God is living within us, in our hearts, and all around us is mind blowing. In this vocation, being around lost students and other facility members is almost guaranteed. This should not scare or intimidate Christian teachers, but only inspire them to live out how God is active within each of us and all around us. While teaching, this gives an incredible opportunity to share to students and to other teachers and facility members that it is clear that God is active because of the example I can be. I can be a light in the dark places of the schools I am blessed to teach in. While being in this vocation I will have verses such as Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” This verse gives us evidence that the Lord is with you wherever you go and this shows that he is active with us, even in the field of being an educator. I believe that being and educator has so many benefits with showing the love that God has shown us. Having this belief will allow me to interact with others in the education field in an incredible
