Throughout history, fascism has been a term that has been used as a derogatory term for politicians that are not particularly liked. Instead of plainly analyzing the characteristics of a candidate, the term fascist tends to be thrown around as a final punch of negativity. As the true meaning of this term is becoming more and more skewed, it is important to break down and assess the meaning of fascism. Many candidates, elected presidents and political figures have been labeled as fascists, from Adolf Hitler to Mililani. But the latest fascist is rumored to be President Donald Trump. His actions from the beginning of his campaign to his first month, almost two, of presidency has led his adversaries and fellow running mates to label him as a fascist; but what is fascism? What President Trump he done to deserve this label? Why do some of his opponents consider him a fascist? Is Donald Trump truly a fascist?
