What is abortion? Abortion is clearly defined as the termination of a human pregnancy. This procedure is most often performed within the first 28 weeks of the pregnancy cycle. Abortion can be looked at as wrong, morally and lawfully, in many perspectives of persons in today’s society. However, The abortion procedure is moral until proof shines through. Abortion is not a murder, it is ruled constitutional, and it is typically a woman’s choice whether to bring her pregnancy to term or not. Therefore, the proof of abortion being unethical lacks.
Abortion is a termination, not a murder. It is a matter of opinion or religious belief when human life really begins. Therefore, the idea of personhood at conception is considered to be only an opinion or belief as well (abortionProCon.org). For instance, most Christian religions believe human life begins at conception while Hindus and some members of Judaism believe the opposite. Each religion has its own separate beliefs and opinions, but none prove a true fact of when human life actually begins. Since the fetus is not scientifically proven to be a person at conception, it is not enshrined with laws (abortionProCon.org). This means the fetus does not have the rights that the average human being, such as the mother who carries it, does. For example, one can take a woman to court with an argument full of facts and details, but you cannot do this with the fetus that lies within the woman’s womb. The woman has rights to protect and the fetus does not. With this said, terminating the pregnancy does not murder the fetus, because it does not have the human rights of a living being (Luhrman). It just eliminates an unwanted embryo whose rights lies with the mother.

The fetus, being a person, has a right to life, but as the mother is a person too, so has she a right to life. An argument for this case is by having an abortion, you are directly killing the fetus, whereas if the mother were to die by giving birth, she is not being directly killed, just simply letting her die. If the mother were to perform the abortion on herself in order to save her own life, it would not be considered a murder (Thomson p41-42). "Everyone has a right to life, so the unborn person has a right to life" (Thomson p43). In certain cases (rape) she indeed believes that it is permissible to abort the fetus, but not always.
Abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy that does not end in birth of a child. There are two types of abortion-medical abortion and surgical abortion. Medical abortion can be done before 49 days of pregnancy by using pharmaceutical drugs. Surgical abortion takes place by using surgical instruments between 6-14 weeks of pregnancy. Both methods are safe. It depends on the size of fetus and week of pregnancy. An abortion, which is the removal of a fetus from a woman’s body, should be allowed because of women’ s freedom, life opportunities and victim protection.

Abortion is the killing of the defenseless unborn. Throughout its history this practice has been recognized as a human right for women. Two movements that have emerged from this controversial topic are Pro-Life and Pro-choice. Pro-choice declares that the choice is up to the mother while Pro-life states that the unborn has the right to live. But by examining the history of abortion, court cases it is clear that the killing an unborn is morally wrong and unfair for some.
The following essay will examine the morality of abortion with specific reference to the writings of Don Marquis, Judith Jarvis Thompson, Peter Singer and Mary Anne Warren. I will begin by assessing the strength of the argument provided by Marquis which claims that abortion is impermissible because it deprives a being of a potential “future like ours,” and then go on to consider the writings of Singer, Thomson and Warren to both refute Marquis claims and support my assertion that abortion is morally permissible primarily because of the threat to the freedom and bodily autonomy of women extending the right to life to a foetus in utero would pose.
As defined by the Merriam- Webster dictionary, abortion is “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by resulting in or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus as a spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during
Many also argue that it is a woman 's right to choose whether or not she wants to have a child and no matter what it is her body and nobody else should be concerned with what she decides to do with her body. So now the question still remains should abortion be legal say I will be analyzing this topic in discussing my views on abortion, pro-life, and pro-choice. So what is abortion? Abortion according to Webster dictionary it is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.

Abortion is the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy
The Bible is often time misquoted when it comes to the issue of abortion. In fact the word of God makes it clear to us that abortion is not a sin, it's quite clear that to believe otherwise is nothing short of idolatry and blasphemy and those are definitely sins. One of the most beautiful chapters in the Bible is Psalms 139.
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
