Achieve Business
Teamwork harnesses individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives and is the key to spreading my 4th ABCT vision. Leaders and Soldiers alike, create synergy and a positive organizational environment by sharing in each other’s accomplishments and foster a culture of interest, instead of indifference. My intent is for 4th ABCT to develop an understanding of this team mentality, realizing how as individuals we are limited to the sum of our efforts and achievements, while as a team our efforts and achievements are multiplied. Pride, performance, and camaraderie in our organization will increase motivation because each individual achievement is shared by all. I will look to CSM Ivor, my brigade staff, and “battalion command teams” (Battalion Commanders and CSMs) to share and embody my vision of teamwork and foster the same within their commands. They will be my guiding coalition and lead agents for change, and I expect them to build our team through coaching, teaching, and mentoring their subordinates. This exemplifies engaged leadership and shares my vision because leaders are investing time in training and counseling our soldiers, and empowers our subordinates to execute it. I think that once we start acting like a team again pride in the unit will surge as leaders demonstrate engaged leadership with increased counseling and active mentorship programs. Members of the unit will spend more time together, strengthening professional and personal bonds and incorporating families at after hour unit evens. The first area identified for improvement is praising people for a job well done. Too many times I have passed on the opportunity to publicly recognize member either formally or informally for their efforts. From my point of view, when a task is assigned it is expected to be completed to the highest level of competency. Meeting this standard leaves little room for exemplary performance to be recognized. Sir, I am honored by the privilege to once again serve in 4th Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT). Over of the last 30 days, I had an opportunity to reconnect, and reflect on the current state of the Brigade. The 4th ABCT has a rich history of success and glory. It is my goal to put in place the systems and practices for this great organization to exceed all past and present accomplishments. As a result of my assessment, I identified three areas of focus that will improve our organization: a unit vision, a change in organizational culture and climate, and building organizational teams. I have no doubt that with the implementation of these three areas of focus, I will be the transformational leader that 4th ABCT needs as we prepare for the upcoming National Training Center (NTC) rotation and tackle the task of the Regionally Aligned Forces (RAF) mission.
2.1It is important to adhere to agreed ways of working which are set in either your contract / job profile so you then have a defined set of responsibilities within your role and have a good understanding of the employer’s expectations. Spend my time meeting the requirements of my job to make sure that the service users get the care they need and deserve. Also to ensure we are covering all policies, procedures, legislation and continue to be compliant for CQC.

I hope that you can see my education and future are advancing as we speak. This doesn’t mean I haven’t had a few bumps in the road, because I have. Actually, some of the bumps have unfortunately been financial aid. But, I am growing. It is a day to day continual experience of growth and it’s exciting for me to see where it takes me. DUTY PERFORMANCE: SSG, your duty performance for the month of April was to standards. You continue to complete all tasks that are assigned to you in a timely manner. You're responsible and work well with no supervision. You have completed the changeover slides and brief CRC RADC at the Crew daily changeover brief flawlessly this month. You have ensured that all the STO have gone out on time while on shift. SSG Austin, outstanding job on working with the Mission Planning Cell on the Syria strike planning the up order of PAT XI and your performance on the BCT-3 Floor. Your knowledge of the Patriot weapon system has been vital in developing a training plan for the two 14E in the ADAFCO sections. SSG Austin, great job in taking the lead in the updating and development class for the 108th ADA BDE Blackboard. This will help standardize all training within the BDE. On the 25 April 17 you will be teaching Tact Tuesday class to the Kingpin CRC night crews. The class needs to be 10-20 min in length over Patriot capabilities and limitations. I will expect you to back brief me on the class on the 23 April 17.

Possessing a shared understanding of the operational environment will aid in our planning process when conducting operations throughout our theater of operation. In every operation we execute we know that we will accept prudent risks, identification and mitigation of those risks will determine our ability to accomplish our mission. Incorporating the principles of mission command by building cohesive teams through mutual trust, fostering an environment of shared understanding, and accepting prudent risk will make me an effective adviser to the commander, aid the staff during the operations process, and provide an example for Soldiers to emulate. My involvement in all aspects of mission command is critical to the success of our organization.
I took a keen interest to run the branch with high enthusiasm and excitement, which helped me acquire skills that enabled me to contribute towards the organization’s growth, profitability and ultimately new business. The purpose of this paper is not to teach you, or to show you how interpersonal communication is essential to everyday life at home or work. But, I am going to do my best to at least show you how essential communication skills are in all areas of life by using me as the example. My plan is to focus on some of the elements of interpersonal communication that we have been touching on this semester. While reading our Interpersonal Communications Book, three goals kept being highlighted that I personally wanted to accomplish by the end of course. I’m sure that by now have noticed that I keep referring to my topics as goals. The reason why I’m doing so is because I’m still on that learning curve…an ongoing process. If can recall back to all of our assignment in this course they all bring one collective point. That point is that, Interpersonal communication is an essential skill in everything that we do in life.
In the future I would like to see myself, as a continuously promoted public official who could possibly become a pro-active politician in today’s demanding political arena. To achieve this, I would like to gain more knowledge which can help me reach intellectual maturity to the latest practices adopted in the field of Public Administration. My desire for self-development in this area and curiosity to learn past and contemporary developments in different societies will help me to solve the problems easily.
