There are many lessons I have learned from the internship.
1. Ask for feedback
Most of my initial projects involve a high level of repetition, and I cannot truthfully say that I enjoy each one of them. I felt frustrated and talked to my supervisor about it. He explained to me how my work was crucial to the whole process and fulfilling to complete. He also helped me see myself in the big picture. Gradually I am able to understand how the small projects have prepared me for the larger projects. I routinely ask for feedback and my supervisor has always offered me great suggestions on how I can improve my performance in the projects. When I was reviewing the baler contracts, I made slow progress because our historical records were not complete. My supervisor was very understanding and taught me to focus more on our active suppliers

Learn something new
I use my journal to write down what I have learned and what I need to learn. As an intern, I am always learning new accounting stuff since I come across questions all the time. Also, I find technical proficiency to be extremely important. People always tell me that learning is not something just for students; it is a lifelong practice. Through the workplace experience, I have been able to understand the importance of making learning something my daily routine and improving myself in the process.
5. Manage your time
Adjusting to 8 to 5 work schedule is difficult for me, and it is even more difficult to manage my time outside the office. At the first few weeks, I had trouble adjusting to life in Conyers as a full-time worker and I could not do anything proactive after work. Gradually, I learned to reserve set times in my schedule for activities that allow myself to relax, have fun and learn something. I also create a checklist of what I would like to get done at home and cross them out during the week. It helps me live my personal life in a more meaningful way and also helps make my working life more
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
For the study, writing a reflective learning journal helps me: bring together theory and practice and yield better understanding of the course material while for my development as a successful and independent learner, it helps me: See my strength and weakness
During the weekends, I work at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This is an extraneous work schedule that has been weighing on me very heavily. My wife stays at home and takes care of our house and children. We work together as a team to make sure our kids are cared for and have everything they need to
Becoming an intrical part of the National Junior Honor Society would be a great privilege. NJHS established in 1929. From its conception, it has validated five guiding principles, which are; enthusiasm for scholarship, desire to render service, leadership, responsible citizenship, and development of character. Thus, I would not only like to join for the academic recognition, but to further develop and challenge myself within these areas. For many years, NJHS has paved a road to success for many alumni. Hopefully soon, I will be counted amongst them.
This reflection paper is divided into five main sections. The first section gives a general introduction of internship that I was doing during my internship period. The second section provides an overview of the internship practice and tasks that I was assigned to do. The third section is about the office technologies I used during the internship. The fourth section is about the benefits of the RCBC Paralegal Program courses taken as applied to the work that I performed. The final section is devoted to the knowledge and experience that I gained during the course of internship.
Looking at my own approach to time management I have noticed that I am well organised and good at prioritising tasks and jobs. When I log onto my computer to start my shift I am sent down numerous jobs, each job is different and has different deadlines for attendance and completion. I plan my day based around the date and time deadlines of the jobs and also the locations of the jobs. I then schedule the most effective order of completing the jobs, putting high priority jobs at the top of my list and grouping sites that are geographically close to each other. By effectively planning my day I keep a focused attitude towards my work and I have time to think about tasks and situations, rather tha...
I was privileged enough to get the opportunity to be a tax intern with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta, GA this spring. The beginning of my internship experience was a little different from the others because I was able to go to the National Championship in Arizona with an organization on campus. I was quite hesitant to ask for the time off because I was just an intern and I wanted to make the best impression possible. I emailed the manager that I interviewed with and after a week, he was able to get back to me with the firm’s policy. If an employee’s alma mater makes it to the national championship they are eligible for two days off. I am not sure if I would have asked if the manager had not been an alumni from the University of Alabama.
Creating and achieving goals are some important things that people want to do in their lives and learn to accomplish or achieve them. The goals can be small, big, long, short, simple, complicated, hard, objective, career, life, educational, professional and it can be for anything such as health, job, work, you, the people that are around you, friends, family, the world, history, culture and advocacy. In order to accomplish or achieve these goals, you need to have a lot of time, effort, proficiency, patience and perseverance. Goals are the ones to be proud of because we are accomplishing them every day you just do not realize it.
A global citizen is that who is willing to use its voice and knowledge to make a change. No one would ever be able to make a change in just one day, it is something that takes time and devotion. I’m really interested in diversity and I’m seeking to what is my role is as a world citizen. The fact that I’m searching for an international education is the proof of my desire to establish myself as a global citizen and my interest in the world issues.
The quarter has finally come to an end, and with that, I close out my internship and this class that went along with it. It was a great experience and I leave equipped with a new set of skills that are preparing me for the world ahead. As I write this reflection paper, I think back to the very first week when I set up two goals for myself to focus on and hope to achieve throughout the following weeks. My first goal was to develop a better understanding of myself within the work place, and my second was to develop a strong network to jumpstart my career. Both of my goals were achieved, however, I don’t feel that either of my goals will ever be complete. I believe that you can always formulate a better understanding of yourself, and you can always network to develop a stronger tree of connections. I know for a fact, however, that I reached satisfaction with both of my goals at this internship at MKI and know whole-heartedly that I did everything in my power to exhaust my resources in

During the course of time, I’ve learned many useful things that have led me to be the person I want to be today. From college classes to work experiences, I now have the ability to exceed upon internship experiences that can shape my perspective on life. The purpose of this paper is to summarize, reflect, analyze, and synthesize on my internship experience at the Children’s Home of Reading-Acute Partial Hospitalization Program.
My internship experience this semester was interesting. I interned at ESH/MESH with Bridgeway. My Supervisor was Emilie Banz. I didn’t do much but I did learn a lot from this experience. I met a lot of great people and watch PsyR in action. I met a couple of individuals who were really cool. My experience this semester has prepared me for the next.
