When I started to go to my internship at Mosholu Gardens (internship placement ) for Lehman College I learned that I have a natural gift when it comes to using active listening skills which has helped me work with clients in exploring their issues and helping them resolve their issues. If I am accepted into Lehman College I will continue on getting above average grades as I did before at Lehman. I want to do this to show everyone that I can do a great job at being able a reliable social worker. Helping people that have suffered from severe trauma, homelessness and other individuals that have lived though traumatic experiences. The goal I have as a future social worker is to continue on helping those that are homeless so they can move into the supportive housing programs by providing them services to help them continue on staying in the housing programs instead of living in the streets again. One of my ambitious goals is to expand my abilities overseas to help others in need of help though humanitarian work. It has always been one of my ambitious to do humanitarian work while being a social worker helping individuals in need of assistance in New York City. It is my ambitious to assist those in life here in America and overseas as I work on getting my masters
