Informative Speech On Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift once said “Life isn’t how to survive the storm it’s about how to dance in the rain.”
Hi my name is Maryam and today I will be talking about an inspirational, outgoing, fierce and a successful young woman named Taylor Swift. For those of you, who haven’t heard about this astounding icon, let me share a bit of background information about her. She is a 25 year old singer-songwriter who currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Some of her recent songs include Wildest Dreams, Bad Blood, Blank Space and many more. I will be covering the following topics on how Taylor Swift continues to excel in her everyday career of music; she is heavily involved in various different communities and demonstrates extreme respect.
To begin with, Taylor is such an incredible singer-songwriter at such a young age. In fact, she is a seven time Grammy winner and is notorious for being the youngest awardee for the music industry’s highest honor. Swift has been honored by the song writer’s hall of fame for the Hal David Starlight award for her globally beloved songs. Along with that, Taylor holds five Guinness world records and has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. As

a result, she is the only artist to have an album hit 1 million dollar sales in the first week of three separate albums. Furthermore, in the year of 2010, Taylor Swift was crowned one of “Time” magazines 100 most influential people in the world. Additionally, she has been named the billboard magazine’s “woman of the year.” In total, Swift has received 230 awards from 496 nominations. Her compassion and record-setting excellence hasn’t changed her deep rooted personality.
Secondly, Taylor Swift is heavily involved in numerous amounts of communities by volunteering her time and supporting a variety of global charities.

In fact, she was named the most charitable celeb for the year of 2014. An example would be that on September 21, 2007 Swift launched a campaign to protect children from online predators. Recently she gave $50 000 to some schools in New York in order to provide supplies, renovation and much more. Taylor has also chosen to donate all her proceeds from her Wildest Dream’s music video to the African Parks Foundation of America to support nature conservation. When a flood in Tennessee occurred in 2010, Taylor donated $500 000 from a flood relief telethon hosted by a TV station named WSMV. Therefore, Swift has done tremendous acts of kindness all across the

world.
Lastly, Taylor Swift shows an extreme amount of respect to everyone she meets, no matter the differences. As a result, she is an ideal role model for young girls. She is always approachable and loyal to her millions of fans. She motivates others to find their passion and grow on it. She treats everyone with so much gratitude and courtesy. For example one of her fans named Brandon was kicked out of his home after a fight with his father leaving him homeless. When Taylor Swift heard about this, she was absolutely disheartened. She decided to take action by supporting him emotionally and gave a donation of $4000. She gave him hope and another day to live by making him realize that people actually care about his well-being. She also shows deep respect for feminine concerns. Therefore, Swift displays respect by paying attention to her fan’s struggles and emphasizing empathy.
In conclusion, Taylor Swift is an excellent singer-songwriter at such a young age, is deeply involved in our global community and demonstrates respect to everyone she meets.
