Transfer Trip to University of Virginia
An event worth mentioning is the trip that NOVA took to University of Virginia on October 23rd, 2015. We had a group of nine prospective transfer students, and Mr. Douglas Rhoney, the trip guide. We left from the Woodbridge campus parking lot at 9:30 am. It took us two and a half hours to reach Charlottesville, in Albemarle County, Virginia. The drive there was very exciting since we got to see a lot of things we never saw before. When we left Spotsylvania County and entered Orange County, we saw how places look that are far away from urban civilization. In Orange County, houses were almost a mile and a half apart from each other surrounded by endless view of hills and grass with animals grazing. We reached University of

She then had a 20 minute personal transfer session in the Peabody Hall of admissions where we asked specific questions about the transfer process. The information session was extremely helpful because it helped us clear all the questions we had to get through the guaranteed transfer process. After the information session, we had a tour of the campus. One of the UVA students guided us throughout the beautiful campus designed by Thomas Jefferson. The tour started at 1.30 pm and lasted for about 2 hours. We walked along the different schools, bookstores, the church, classrooms, and the on campus transfer residence hall. The most beautiful place was the amphitheater where the university hosts many student activities. The amphitheater can accommodate up to 500 people. Everyone on campus seemed friendly and welcoming. It was interesting to note that UVA does not have student ambassadors to take prospective students on tours. A small group of students volunteer to take prospective students on campus tours. The entire campus is designed to reflect the rich history of Virginia. The library is huge and is designed beautifully, to reflect the
... the cafeteria over 100 seats are available, so the surrounding will actually help people to be more engaging to their friends. Also, there are many events was held in the building, such as ISU after dark and some very significant speeches were taken place inside the building. The most exciting event I have been through was the orientation. It was taken place in the “Sun Room”, where can be a hall of party and auditorium of a speech. Outside the room there are soft sofa available to students to seat down and read, and the beverage bar will not be far, so why not get a drink and seat for a novel.

Throughout high school I have dreamed of having the opportunity to attend Indiana University. I have a true passion for babies. I love to learn how babies are developed and how they become such an amazing part of the world. Therefore, I would like to apply to Indiana University and pursue a degree in Pediatric Nursing. I would love to be able to deliver babies and deliver new life into this earth. There are several opportunities available for me to get involved with new leadership opportunities. I want to be able to be a leader for all age groups.
It had been raining all of yesterday, and there was still an occasional drizzle now and then. The world looked rather two-dimensional, strange and different. During the car ride, I listened to my music the entire time, the one thing that keeps me from car sickness, and looked out the window. I had never seen anything like it before. Flat land, as far as the eye could see. No houses, fields, or anything but short grass. Combined with the flat gray quality of the sky, the view was rather surreal, a little bit like being on the moon. Sometime after 5 pm, we crossed the Illinois-Wisconsin state line, which was a special moment for me, my first time being over the state border in a little under ten years. The scenery got a little strange again, because we had just got out of the extremely urban area of Wisconsin, because that is our “down south.” But we were now in Illinois’ “up north” area, which consisted of acres of pine forests, dotted with an abundance of biker bars and boat rental
My first two weeks on campus were great. When I first walked on to the campus, it felt very foreign like I was in another country. I didn’t feel connected yet and still felt like a visitor. Most of the time I didn’t know exactly where I was going and of course, I didn’t want to look like a freshman. Eventually, I did find where I was going, after going to Cajun connection.

The advantages of these important learning styles are what uphold the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a school with deep values and comforting surroundings that houses students who value not only an exceptional education, but also an unforgettable college experience.
Recently, I was subjected to a tour of Everest Campus, in Vancouver Washington. To understand what I went through, one ...
In applying for residency, I am pursuing my ultimate goal of becoming an Internal Medicine physician. I firmly believe that I have the character, experience, and attributes necessary to excel in a residency program. As a first-generation American and first in my family to obtain a higher education, I have always endeavored to overcome any challenge that presents itself and I am not satisfied until what I set out to accomplish has exceeded beyond my initial expectations. I possess a great deal of intellectual curiosity and the disparity between my Economics and Chemistry degrees shows a direct reflection of this. This innate curiosity and drive to understand the mechanism of disease led me initially to Internal Medicine.
This allows me to constantly interact with individuals who are in the same place that I was when I was making my decision where to attend college. This job is very rewarding to me, and I realize that this is another situation where I am able to use my “voice” to relate to people regarding their futures, and the college experience that they seek. As a follow-up to tours, the prospective students and their families complete reviews on their college tour process. I am proud to see that people really enjoy my tours, find me enthusiastic, positive, and knowledgeable about the University and the City of Pittsburgh.
My prejudices remained intact up until the day of my scheduled campus visit, overnight stay, and interview on October 7-8, 2001. Stepping up to the door of the admissions office, many of my resolves all but dissolved, as I was kindly greeted by several groups of women who guided me through registration, campus tours, alumnae speeches, and a most excellent dinner, attended by the College President and a presentation of classical music played by four talented young women. I was absolutely enthralled by the beauty of the campus, and pleasantly taken aback by the size, cleanliness, and grandeur of the residence halls. Though these things did help to curtail much of my cynicism about the “all-women college”, I believe that the experience that really attracted me to Bryn Mawr began when my hostess picked me up in the admissions office.
As a low-income student in high school, I used my application fee waivers, to apply to four Cal State Universities and four University of California schools. I did not apply to any private universities, for the simple fact that I lacked guidance and information about the schools as well as the probability that I would be accepted to such schools. When I was denied from my top choice (the University of California, Los Angeles), I decided to attend the best school I was accepted to—the University of California, Santa Barbara. In the following section, I will discuss the individual, societal and cultural influences in my college choice process that led to my decision to attend UCSB.
This area of the world is so foreign to my Oklahoma life; it infuses me with awe, and with an eerie feeling of being strongly enclosed by huge mountains, and the mass of tall trees. However, when my foot first steps onto the dusty trail it feels crazily magical. The clean, crisp air, the new smell of evergreen trees and freshly fallen rain is mixed with fragrances I can only guess at. It is like the world has just taken a steroid of enchantment! I take it all in, and embrace this new place before it leaves like a dream and reality robs the moment. As I turn and look at my family, I was caught by my reflection in their impressions. The hair raising mischief in the car was forgotten and now it was time to be caught up in this newness of life. It was as if the whole world around us had changed and everyone was ready to engulf themselves in it. The trickling of water somewhere in the distance and the faint noise of animals all brought the mountains to
Riding the bus for the first time was a great experience for me, I took the bus at Fayetteville State University all the way to the transfer center which was at Downtown Fayetteville. I wanted ride to all the time point so I had to take the bus again to its transfer point and then back to Fayetteville State University. My experience on the bus was awesome been that it was my first time of riding the bus. On time performance on routes was awesome the driver or the operator was on time. The bus was at the time point (FSU) at 11:40am and was not late, it was within the 5 minutes regulation. Also the operator was very friendly with riders who were riding the bus and yes she knew almost everybody that was on the bus. She conduct herself in a professional manner and even had to help some riders who were having problems inserting their money in the fare box. And honestly speaking I didn’t even know how to insert my pass, she was kind enough to help me and let me know that the next time I ride the bus, this is how I have to do things.
Growing up, everybody gets to learn that the real world is not a fantasy that’s easy to cope with. While I was growing up I believe that life was really easy; not until I reached 12th grade. That’s where I got to learn how to be independent, and work hard to earn my things. 2015 was the year where I got a little taste of the real world. Growing up was a blur, and I barely remember everything from my childhood, so I shall tell my reader the important facts, challenges, and rewards I have faced in my life.
