For my paper I picked to write about Shay Mitchell. She is a famous actress, who stars in the hit TV show Pretty Little Liars. She is a funny, smart, down to earth, outgoing, bubbly and a caring person. She travels around the world and visits children in need and helps take of them while she’s there. She has also written a book called Bliss that talks about what life is like when your twenty years old and trying to become a famous actress, dealing with dead end jobs, friends, and relationships, just the basic life of a twenty year old trying to make it in Hollywood. She has also made her own clothing line called Fit to Wonder. I choose to write about her because she is my favorite actress of all time. Also because she is good at what she does …show more content…
I think she is extremely high in Openness because she is always open to going to new exotic places around the world like Africa, Belgium, and Rome. Also she is always trying new foods, and new places to go hiking. I would say that she is pretty high in Conscientiousness because as a famous person you have to be aware of your surroundings because you always have paparazzi and fans following you everywhere you go. Also if she’s on set she has to pay attention to tasks like if it’s her que for a line, running, or anything in a script. For Extraversion I think that she is high and that her energy is directed outward, that she gets her energy from being around others like her friends, coworkers, and fans. For example, when she is with her friends and coworkers she is very loud, always laughing and having a good time. I think that she is a higher middle to maybe a lower high in Agreeableness because she is easy going and gets along with anyone she meets or works with. She is always the one that comes up with things to do and I think that maybe once in a while she conforms to what her friends want to do. For Neuroticism I would say that she is on the low side because she is good at controlling her emotions, also I think she doesn’t let her emotions ruin her day. For instance, she had a bad day at work with rehearsals, after she was done with work she let it go and went on with the rest of her day. I think that she is high in most of these …show more content…
For example, she could be at home and have an Internal Locus for when she’s reading, her script for next week and thinking and having that mind set of where she is going to practice every day, work hard at it and by next week she is going to have her part down and memorized. A situation as to where she would have an External Locus is if she gets sick and try’s to go to work and can’t perform up to her expectation of how she normally does when she isn’t sick. Another is that she and her friends are going to a new restaurant and she has an Internal Locus about the experience she is going to have and about trying the new food. For Reciprocal Determinism she could be going to an award show like the VMA’S, AMA”S, or something like that where the atmosphere is very high and the environment is upbeat, loud, excited, drinking, and joking. Her behavior is going to be upbeat, very positive, excited, loud, laughing, and having fun. Her thoughts would be I’m excited to be here with my friends, coworkers, other famous people, it’s going to be a fun and crazy night. All this would influence her personality by being in a good mood, excited to be there, that it’s going to be an exciting night, and she might be nervous because she is presenting an award, so she doesn’t want to mess
Moreover, she managed to get a lot of fame in the same movies in which she started off small. Another thing that we can draw on from her incredible career is the fact that she was able to diversify so much that her career span over a range of different genres including theater, film, music and others.
Emma: *Tears ran down her face* You mean Graces mom left her because she wanted to? How could a mother ever do that to their child
She is not only an actress or singer, but she is a role model. She inspires tons of people and loves giving back to the community. She loves showing culture, going around talking to many people, and performing in many places. Queen Latifah inspires me. One day, I would like to be a big movie star and a big artist like her. Queen Latifah put her mind to the dreams that she wanted to accomplish and she accomplished them. Maybe, if I did the same thing, I could accomplish my dreams also. She has been through many of trials but she has came back from those trials stronger than

Personality is the individual differences in characteristic patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. To me, personality means uniqueness. It is what sets us all apart from one another. Personality psychologist has coined five different traits into the Big Five. It consists of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience. Extraverts are people who are relatively sociable and outgoing while on the opposite end individuals who are introverts are people who would much rather enjoy the company of close friends and family. People who are high in agreeableness are more likely to be trustworthy. Those who are high in conscientiousness are goal-oriented. Individuals high in neuroticism
“Pretty Little Liars” shows vulnerable teenage girls, but does not exclude boys in its insanity and mysterious plots, twist which is magnified into life experiences which only to my knowledge can be overcome with friendship, hard work, and basic family values and traditions. Throughout the history of storytelling, there have always been storybook characters that inspire and motivate young readers to become more engaged and knowledgeable about the struggles that some people go through. Reading has always been a pastime of mine; while reading I collect new friends in wonderful places that otherwise I could only dream of. Each of these characters that I have befriended and connected with over the years, has shaped my personality in some way or another, and choosing just one seems an impossible task. Although women’s rights have skyrocketed in the past century, overall the world is still predominately male-orientated, but the world of books has no bounds for inspirational women. Countless authors have written books with strong female leads, most of them fiction, but nonetheless inspirational. When choosing the most influential to me, I could start by writing about the character that first allowed me to immerse myself in the world of the written language, Nancy Drew. Or I could write about the character that allowed me to feel comfortable with being unique and intelligent, Hermione Granger. But I won’t go into those clichés, the book character that has inspired me more than the heroines starring in the hundreds of books that I’ve read is real life Super Girl, Malala Yousafzai.

These scales are commonly alternatively represented by the OCEAN acronym Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion/Introversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. The Big Five structure captures, at a broad level of abstraction, commonalities among most of the existing systems of personality description, and provides an integrative descriptive model for personality research. The purpose of this research report is to investigate the personality of Beyoncé Knowles in terms of humanistic and trait conceptions of personality.
Although some would argue that their results are nowhere near correct, I would say that mine were, for the most part, spot on. I did conjure up a few disagreements; however, a more detailed and longer test might be able to give me a more in depth and accurate rating of my personality. The conclusions of my test say that I am moderately open to experience, highly conscientious, moderately extraverted, and high in both agreeableness and
4) With Agreeableness I ranked at 83% with the description of good-natured, courteous and supportive. Being my agreeable self, I agree with this assessment. I have a natural affinity for empathy and sympathizing with others. 5) In Neuroticism I ranked at 37% - generally relaxed. This is also accurate. I would probably rank lower if it weren’t for being a worry wart, which is linked to my high conscientiousness. People often comment on how easy-going I am, but if they could see what goes on underneath th...
Mindy possesses many quirky personality traits, and often finds herself in perplexing situations. Mindy possesses many characteristics in which I am led to believe that she is high on extraversion. She enjoys making quality connections between her cliental and co-workers. She exhibits many traits of being high on extraversion due to the fact that she is social, affectionate, and loving. Mindy is low on conscientiousness because her life is overall disorganized, and she often shows out spurts of carelessness. Although she is organized within her professional life, she leans more towards being disorganized within the other aspects of her life. This ultimately helps her characteristics lean more towards being low on conscientiousness. Mindy is high in openness to experience because she is imaginative and independent. She often makes rash decisions, and shows signs of creativity often. She also shows that she in independent within her professional and personal life by being a successful business woman and having her own apartment. In regards to agreeableness, Mindy seems to fall evenly in between on the model scale. She shows traits of being softhearted and overly-trusting, but also exhibits signs of being uncooperative and often suspicious of peoples’ intentions. Mindy often finds herself experiencing self-pity and allows her insecurities to play a major
The first temperament is melancholy. Melancholies are introverted sensitive perfectionistic. They have unrealistically high standards for themselves, and others. They want things to be a certain way, and when they are not they get distressed. Many people with a Melancholy temperament wish to understand the details of everything in life. The reason is because to be uninformed is to stray from perfection. They assume the worst out of situations. They are very pessimistic people. They usually ask very specific questions. They do this to get a clear understanding of the subject. If something seems wrong they will not be able to let the situation be. When they argue they argue for the situation not themselves. They also plan before acting. They do not make rash impulsive decisions. They complain a lot. Not in a demanding way rather th...
