Adam Richard Sandler is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, film producer, and musician who was born on September 9, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York; and currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

His family is Jewish and descends from Russian immigrants on both sides.
His father, Stanley was an electrical engineer, and his mother, Judith, was a nursery school teacher.
On June 22, 2003, Adam married with his actual wife, the actress Jacqueline Samantha. The couple has two daughters, Sadie Madison, born in 2006, and Sunny Madeline, born in 2008.

He started his acting career with the film “Going Overboard” in 1989 where he acted as the main character and was also the writer.
In the following years has played in other films like “Happy Gilmore”, “The Wedding Singer” with Drew

Barrymore, “The Waterboy” and “Mr. Deeds”, with Winona Ryder. In the last two movies was also the executive producer.

Sandler starred with Drew Barrymore again in “50 First Dates”. This is probably the best films of Adam because it's not just a comedy like most of his films, but also appear dramatic and romantic elements.

During his career, Adam Sandler has received several awards for his involvement in films.
He received the People’s Choice Award of Favourite Comedic Movie Actor because of films like “50 First Dates”, “Grown Ups”, “Just Go with It”, “That’s My Boy” and “Grown Ups 2”.
On the other side, he has received other awards not so satisfying like the Golden Raspberry Award of the Worst Actor, in movies like “Happy Gilmore” and “Jack and Jill”. Because of that last film, he received even the award for Worst Actress, because, like I said before, he did the paper of a twin sister as well.
