...join so long ago I never really knew I 'd end up here doing what I do. It seems like the common theme for me is seeing something and saying “I can 't do that” then pursuing it until I can. One of my fondest memories is watching someone at the percussion concert play a marimba solo when I was in sixth grade and just looking over at Justin molder and laughing saying “wow I can 't do that” now I do that all the time. I didn 't think I could ever be the leader of a group like this it seemed like too much for me, but now after watching and being in this program and seeing where it could go and what I can do, I want to help take it there. I feel great about next year no matter what happens but I 'm ready to step up, I 'm ready take on whatever I have to to make this year the best year yet. Not just for me but for us all every last one of us in this great family I call home.

People get influenced by this music and want to live the expensive and exotic life these drug lords live by. In this research paper, I am going to explain how the emergence of narcocorridos has influenced the young generation and societies in the United States and Mexico. The narcocorrido is a subgenre of the corrido. The corrido first started in the late nineteenth century, but reached its peak in the Mexican Revolution 1910 when political leaders like Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata were in action in Mexico (Stavans). Throughout the years, Corridos have covered other major events that have involved important figures like labor activist Cesar Chavez, Tejana singer Selena and the revolutionary Subcomandante Marcos.
There was piece in the streets, no more bombs, less violence, kidnapping, etc… I want people outside of Colombia to know about what truly Colombia is about. We always take into the fact that when people associate Colombia they associate it with the negative actions of Pablo Escobar and how he smuggled Cocaine into the United States. When people associate Colombia, they do it with Pablo Escobar, when the actual reality is that Pablo Escobar was at war with
Argentina, but he also went to other South American countries, such as Paraguay and Brazil.

I have recently written and recorded my first full-length album. This has been a huge accomplishment of mine. I love being able to express my thoughts and feelings in an honest way that is my own. Seeing people react and connect with songs I have written is a feeling I could never put into words. I am continuously humbled and honored to be able to influence the people around me with my music and art. It is this same kind of enthusiasm I want to bring into my cosmetology career.
I found out that after he left New York he moved back to the Midwest. Because he saw how the love of money can ruin someone he decided not to work for his father but do something he really loved. He wanted to make a positive impact in the world as a way of making up for all the negativeness he had seen and been apart of in New York. For awhile he couldn’t figure out what that was so he he did odd jobs here and there until the Great Depression hit.
Banda El Recodo has been a successful, revolving door of Mexican musicians since 1938. They also have ties to Los Zetas drug cartel. Across the border, we have Donald Trump. Trump is a wealthy business mogul who's now running for president of the U.S. Seeing as he wants to build a wall separating the U.S from Mexico and stopping the flow of drugs (and immigrants) into the U.S, we might have a new war on our hands.
The production and consumption of music has become a market of its own that has been growing and getting stronger every single day. Many companies have found their fortune in the music industry and have become part of the globalization by entering the worldwide market and economy.

He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the son of Eleanor and Pedro Olmos, who was a welder and mail carrier. His father was a Mexican immigrant who moved to California in 1945 and his mother was Mexican American too. His parents split up when he was 7 years old, and he was primarily raised by his great-grandparents as his parents worked. He grew up wanting to be a professional baseball player, and at age 13 joined the Los Angeles Dodgers' farm system, playing as a catcher. He left baseball at age 15 to join a rock and roll band. In the late 1960s and the early 1970s, Olmos branched out from music into acting, appearing in many small productions, until his big break portraying the narrator, called "El Pachuco," in the play Zoot Suit, which dramatized the World War II-era rioting in California brought about by the tensions between Mexican-Americans and local police. He and this play relate to what we have discussed in class because we learned the different forms people express the Mexican American culture and he is a great actor who does an excellent job in expressing
Music Business Music Business Exam Number One Question 1 - What is The music publishing industry at a glance would seem to be those who print sheet music, method books, lead sheets, and all of the texts or notated music that musicians (and those aspiring to be musicians) use. Years ago, this was what most music publishers did, but as the industry has evolved, the process has become much more complex. Music is not just ink and paper, intellectual material and property to the individual who writes it. Therefore, the song does not become "a song" when it is written down. This is not an easy concept to grasp because the song itself has no physical makeup.
