As Bruce Lee said, “There's only one basic principle of self-defense people must apply the most effective weapon, as soon as possible, to the most vulnerable target.” When an Armalite Rifle 15 (AR 15) is put in the most effective place it proves to be effective in home defense situations. The ar 15 offers a viable option for home defense because its effective in short range combat situations. Many Americans choose this weapon for home defense.
The first manufacturer was Armalite Rifles. This company fully designed the ar 15 and ar 10 platforms. Armalite was founded in the early 1950’s in Hollywood, California (“The AR-15 Rifle”). In 1959 Armalite sold the design to Colt

Some of the advantages are that even a novice gunsmith could build this firearm. These firearms are very easy to customise to the operators needs. These firearms have parts readily available but when mismatching part it can void warranties on the parts. Companies strongly advise using all brand matching parts. Companies have warranties on all of their parts and if you use different manufacturers they will not accept the warranties on the part. When they design these part they design them to work the absolute best with the other parts they make. While using brand matching parts there isn't any guessing if the parts will work together without malfunction. This is a common problem when gun enthusiast want to modify their firearm to the fullest possibility(Should I Build or Buy an …show more content…

Some errors that could arise from this type of source include biases and limited points of views that lead to misinformation. However, using secondary sources does not detract from Chase’s ability to construct a general theory about firearms development, because a general theory does not require absolute accuracy. Chase also uses many paintings to show military formations in past societies and what weapons they possessed. The conclusions he makes are rational and the inclusion of the paintings provides visually engaging primary sources that further justify Chase’s thesis. Using more primary sources would strengthen the credibility of his descriptions of firearms development in the world, but his construction of a rational theory based on known facts is enough to give this work acceptable credibility.
Weapons have been around from the Neanderthals of the post-ice age, to the Taliban in Afghanistan. Rocks became knives, sticks became spears, and bayonets became AK-47’s. The technology from the French and Indian War was revolutionized and manufactured by the newly opened weaponry companies. Colt and Winchester had a new end of the market during the times of conflict in the United States.

Assault weapons have been labeled as the number one source for mass killings in America. The idea that a weapon can fire a large amount of bullets at a remarkable speed can be used for recreational use was thought of otherwise. This type of weaponry was made for one reason and that is to eliminate as many people as possible and accomplish it in a reasonably fast time. The problem is everywhere and to help control the issue the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to enacting and enforcing gun...

A famous poet Gregory Corso’s poem talks about how “Marriage” is a beautiful. The author is the main character and he is thinking about his future and the possibility of him getting married. He is trying to deeply think about all the possible scenarios he might face, he tries to think about the right decision to take in regard of him getting married or not getting married. So he takes a scientific approach to the dilemma, he first lays out all the possible options he has, and then he simulates every decision in his mind and tries to realize its consequences.
These kinds of weapons were impractical for military use, but attracted many people to the arms race for weapons that could sweep the battlefield. “They had limitations in practice, among them slow re...
