Recommended: The influences of media
Throughout my life I have been influenced by several people in both positive, and negative ways. Many of these people influenced me when I was young and malleable, and that greatly affected my behavior, mindset, and opinion on things while I grew up. Some of these people include my father, who influenced my idea of gender, my mother who influenced me religiously, both of my parents who influenced me politically, Lady Gaga who is part of the media that influenced me, and my dog Furgy that influenced me personally.
From the time I was a child my father placed rigid ideas of what a man and a woman should be. He made me believe that a man, and a woman, should behave, dress, and act a certain way. He told me that a man was supposed to be strong, emotionally hardened, and wasn’t supposed to do feminine things. His ideas of what a man was, made him place certain rules and restrictions on me. He sometimes didn’t allow me to wear chap-stick if it was red or cherry flavored because he thought that it would look like I was wearing or putting on lipstick and it was “too girly.” I also was not allowed to wear flip flop sandals because those were also “for girls.” His strict rules made it to that I could only wear closed toed shoes or sandals, and had to endure severely chapped lips because I used to lick my lips very often. Not that I am older, all of his strict rules are a reminder for me to not be like that to my kids. I try to always be open minded with everything and if something makes my child happy and isn’t harming anyone, then I would allow them to do it. In a more positive way, my father taught me to be respectful to women and to be a gentleman. He would teach me open and hold the door for people, to put my hand in between the eleva...

... for your family, as I will never get yesterday or this moment back, and we never know when it may be our time to leave this Earth. Tomorrow is never promised, so I must make the best of today, and do all I can to create joyful memories with my family. I have seen how important the simple things are, and have learned to appreciate life’s simple moments.
Up until this point in my life, I have been influenced by my father in regards to gender, my mother in religion, my parents politically, Lady Gaga from the media, and our dog Furgy personally. From this point on until I die, I will be influenced by many people and entities in many different ways. When I was young and easily influenced, the people around me created and set the mold for the person who I am and will be today and tomorrow, and I shall forever have been touched in some way by their presence in my life.
So many people have made an impact on society and myself today. It is hard to decide who's influences have been the greatest and who has had the most impact all together. In selecting these unique people, I had to look at my own morals and values and ask myself what I encounter day by day. My everyday life basically consists of money, music, technology, and people, which has lead me to research individuals who made an impact on these aspects.
Have you ever felt the desperate need to fit in with everyone else? Ever felt the need to please someone by taking their advice? Desperately wanted a certain item because it seems like it would majorly impact your life in a positive way? Did you feel that way because someone mentioned something about it to you? Maybe they gave you some advice? Suggested something? If you took that advice or suggestion, it means you’ve just been influenced.
An influence that made an impact throughout our historical events, and in my culture was Cesar Chavez . He is was a civil rights activist and a labor leader who fought for improving the working conditions and fair amount of pay for farm workers. He would lead marches called boycotts, and also did hunger strikes . Before he did all this he himself , with his family worked in the fields as farm workers. Cesar Chavez hardened by his experience and dedicated his life to improving the treatment with nonviolence .

Also they was supportive and the things that I did and they were completely honest with me what they said.So that realy mande me grow as a person. But the ones who hand the must inpake on me who is in my family besides my parents are my gramparents. All the thangs they did for is why they such a major
Back in the day when I was very little, I remember that my dad used to take care of me. He would never let me run around the house when glass could off break and hurt me. As I kept growing up my father started to give more freedom but also gave me more responsibilities; like he wanted me to do the chores of the house, not all of them but some. I knew they were not mine to do but I still help. When I went off to college and I had to do all by myself, I realize that my father did good on making me do my laundry, chores and etc., when I was young. Besides I knew that I had to do my chores for me to go out with friends. Although I had this kind of responsibilities at a young age I can say that it helped in life. But because some parents overprotective their children and they are not exposing to real life, children might not know how to function in society when their parents die.
One influence on my life is people. Miss Haferman is a person who has had a very great influence on my life. She was my first grade teacher.
My father was always there for me, whether I wanted him to be or not. Most of the time, as an adolescent trying to claim my independence, I saw this as a problem. Looking back I now realize it was a problem every child needs, having a loving father. As hard as I tried to fight it, my dad instilled in me the good values and work ethic to be an honest and responsible member of society. He taught me how to be a good husband. He taught me how to be a good father. He taught me how to be a man. It has been 18 years since my father’s death, and I am still learning from the memories I have of him.
Those that choose to be influenced are called role models. Role models have a certain behavior that is unique to others. That behavior is usually imitated by other pupils, usually younger children. These mentors possess the qualities that society strives to perfect. The role models have an outlook that fills the role an individual is trying to aspire so that the same individual looks up to their “mentor.” Each role model teaches a person about themselves. For example, writers can teach us messages about human life through words. The message might help someone realize that life isn’t all about them and that they should go out to do things that make them and other people happy. A role model isn’t brash; only looking back to see if he/she can help those that came from the very same place they did.
When writing about my shaping influence for my third essay, my research paper, I first had to set the scene for the readers and give them a reason to read. In order to do that, I had to describe why this topic affected me.
Throughout our life, we encounter different kinds of people. Although most people around us are strangers who we do not know their names, sometimes they may make a deep impression on us due to their actions as well as attitude towards life. Some people are influenced by the family, friends, and teachers because they are someone who we spend a lot of time with. As for me, when I was ten, I met an ordinary worker who was quite strange to me, and she had a profound influence on my life.
My parents followed moderately different parenting styles. My mother’s parenting style was strict and extraordinarily Authoritarian, while my dad practiced a mix of Neglectful and Authoritarian parenting. My Father was a workaholic and was not around much. During early childhood, I would be in bed by the time he arrived home from work, so I would rarely see him. He did not get involved with my schoolwork and would rarely show up to piano recitals or swim meets. The few times he did show up, he would ridicule me and tell me I should have done better. Since my
Influence is one of the greatest effects people have on us that defines who we are as we grow and learn. Influence is aroused by people media and advertisements. The largest influence in my life has been my very own family. While not all of the effects of their influence were derived from good they shaped me into who I am today. They have instilled within me traits of financial responsibility, confidence, and the courage to fail.
Every piece of me has seemed to come from an inspirational woman who has somehow graced my life. Whether for a second or for a decade, they have made imprints on my soul. To limit myself to describe the one person who has given me the most inspiration would be virtually unfeasible. I am a collage of influence and choice made by those with whom I have interacted.
Everyone has that one person in their life has influenced to be who they are. Some weren’t meant to be looked up to, still somehow that person shaped them to be who they are today. It could be anyone, a friend, teacher, most of the time a parent. A parent that has influenced their child would be a hard parent, who disciplined and showed the real world to their kid, for what it really is. In hopes that their kid will survive the real world and pass on their knowledge to their kids and their children and so on.
The three most influential people are my sister mom and dad. My sister cause she would always stop me when I was making stupid decisions. One time I was going to stop playing sports just to go mess around with my gangster friends and she wouldn’t let me.
