The industrial revolution paved its way in late 18th century in Britain. Then it was gradually disseminated towards Western Europe and United States of America until late 19th century. It was a milestone in the whole world as it was a transition phase from human resource to machinery for production of goods. It not only increased efficiency in production but also saved time and promoted mass production. The digital revolution commenced at the end of 19th century. There are two schools of thought in case of the digital revolution. These life changing inventions had both positive and negative impacts. These inventions too became inspiration for the production of their further generation. People not only enjoyed facilities of transportation and communication, time reduced and efficiency increased as an outcome of these milestone inventions. So is in this revolution too. Industrial revolution it created lots of job opportunities, raised living standard and made things available easily. It had a very vast impact on the society. Indentured labor started to grow. People from different part of the world were brought for the purpose of slavery. People started buying people for their house hold and other purposes. The slaves were treated as an animal. Industrial revolution gave rise to division of classes and class warfare. The rich culture was all about greed , material goods and social status. On the contrary, poor were culturally the walking mats of rich, they worked hard for rich, made their money and were the scapegoats for all the wrong. The condition of poor people was very vulnerable at that time. Richer became richer and richer and poor became poorer and poorer resulting into vast gap between rich and poor. The differences were not only between classes but between gender too. Women were treated as cheaper wage than men for the same amount of work.

The industrial revolution changed the lifestyle of people drastically. The people living in the countryside , farmers, and skilled craftsmen were forced to move to town areas and work in factories as they could not compete with the machineries and went bankrupt. With a change in lifestyle along came, the higher expenses of urban lifestyle and thus women and children were sent out for work. They
