From all the three distinct characterized political subcultures the moralistic political subculture, individual political subculture and traditionalistic political subculture I believe that Houston is both individualistic and traditionalisticpolitical subculture. There many reasons that pushed me to that conclusion, some of these reasons are crystal clear if you are walking in Houston down town you would see all of things that do not add up together meaning seeing a Latino or Hispanic restaurants next to a complex apartment building by itself or a club next to a complex building, or even a dentist next to a bar therefore Houston in known for its lake of zoning. And many people are happy with that because they would have the opportunity to start their own business. On the other hand other people would have a different opinion about this matter and they would consider having an individual subculture is a problem because it would lower the marketplace meaning if you are trying sell your house and your house is next to a bar, your selling price would drop because of your house location and your area, Most people would not prefer to live next to a loud bar which would force you to lower your selling price in order to sell …show more content…

The traditional political subculture’s goal is for experienced politicians to run the government;also it depends on the government to maintain religious values in our lives. It is more likely to have a divided government than individualistic political subculture. Traditionalistic subculture was mostly famous and known in the south. I do not believe that Houston should be a traditionalistic subculture as well because it is more strict religion wise than moralistic and it more holding on traditions. Nowadays there are many changes that we are going through as individuals and a community or society and everything is changing therefore we need a more advanced subculture that follows all the changes that we are going
