On the week of 6/28/17 to 6/30/17, I conducted individual sessions. During my individual session, I did a check-in with the client who disclose suicidal ideation the previous week. The client stated he felt good. He talked about his experience at the facility he was admitted to. He discussed what he learned while he was there and we discussed how he can utilize the information he learned. One thing I am concern about is the client is missing schedule appointment to see his therapist. After reviewing his file, I learned he had an appointment schedule for that day. The client did not know he missed the appointment. I also completed intakes and assessments, conducted weekly individual sessions, reviewed feedbacks from colleagues on the rough drafts I completed for the crisis plan/form and policy update on discrimination. I received very helpful feedbacks from colleagues on the crisis plan and policy update on discrimination, and I was able to finalize both assignments. I also reviewed Muscogee County Juvenile Drug Court policy. I actually love their policy handbook. Their policy handbook is written in a way you can easy translate the information to the client. The policy highlights what I think are key points for the client to know about the program and their expectation. I was able to compare their policy with my agency’s policy, and I was able to identified strengths and weaknesses in relation to my agency policy. Some strengths I were able to identify was the agency highlights its mission, vision, and goals for the client. Some weaknesses I identified was the policy does not highlight all the services the agency offer the clients. The policy does not list policy and procedure in relation to treatment and client
