Bhutan travel information is an important to the foreigners before visiting there. The landlocked country with a diversity of the culture, landscape and language with a constitutional monarchy is there. It is a popular destination for all kinds of travel lovers throughout the world. An attraction of a tour, trekking, hiking, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, festival observing and a study of Vajrayana Buddhism is extremely popular.
Bhutan travel information is knowledge about the Buddhist shrines and its architecture, agriculture and tourism. Paro is an international airport above 7300 ft. Druk air flights to Kathmandu, Bangkok, Singapore, Dhaka, Kolkata, Delhi, Bagdogra, Bombay, and Guwahati.
By Land – Phuentsholing is a town lies in eastern Bhutan that is 170 km east of Bagdogra Airport (India). Phuentsholing to Thimpu (the capital city of Bhutan) is 176 km distance that takes 6 hours by bus.
Gelephu lies in South-Central Bhutan. Thimpu is 250 km far; bus takes 10 hours to reach Thimpu.
Samdrup Jongkhar lies in Eastern Bhutan that is 150 km far from Guwahati (India), a bus takes 3 hours to reach there. Samdrup Jongkhar to Thimpu is 700 km far, which takes 3 days to reach there. Tourist can visit Trashigang, Mongar, Bumthang, Trongsa, Wangde and Phodrang before Thimpu.
Tourist Visa
Except Maldivian, Indian and Bangladeshis nationals, all tourists require a visa to visit Bhutan that is issued from Thimpu. Local licensed tour operators and foreign travel agents are issued the tourist visa. It takes 10 days to a visa clearance. Air ticket to Bhutan can be purchased after the visa clearance. Two passport size photos with money are required for a visa for a 15-day and extensions can be obtained in Thimpu.
