The concept of motivation has been mainly used in the tourism field as a tool which can affect consumer behavior. Based on the Maslow’s hierarchy, motivation is defined as “the driving foreces that justify the reasons of an individual’s behavior”, (Dann, 1981; Pearce, 1982; Uysal & Hagan, 1993).
