I. INTRODUCTION
A. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Sex education is instruction on issues relating to human sexuality, including emotional relations and responsibilities, human sexual anatomy, sexual activity, sexual reproduction, age of consent, reproductive health, reproductive rights, safe sex, birth control and sexual abstinence. Sex education that covers all of these aspects is known as comprehensive sex education.
Philippines is a sovereign country in Southeast Asia in the western Pacific Ocean. It ranks in the top 20 most populated countries in the world, having a population of 103,542,793. They want to explore and discover things and may result in premarital sex, teenage pregnancies and worst, sexually transmitted diseases (STD). The role of sex education will primarily serve as a guideline to them because as they grow, they wanted to know what will be the result if they do that. It is important that we equip them correct knowledge and background, safer sex or abstinence of having sex is a better idea to reduce their curiousness. We teach the students to make responsible decisions for the benefit of the economy.
G. With or without sex education, teenagers will seek information. It is better to feed them appropriate knowledge according to their age than to be fed wrong information

IV. CONCLUSION If we are to make an impact on children and young people before they become sexually active, comprehensive sexuality education must become part of the formal school curriculum. It is needless to say that ignorance leads us to wrong assumptions that often result to mistakes and misjudgments. When kids are adequately informed about sex, misinformation is reduced. As sex education programs carried out effectively it will serve as powerful tools because they are empowered with correct knowledge in helping prevent them being infected by the HIV virus and other illnesses resulting from unsafe, inappropriate sexual decisions.
Now, the young people are the ones at risk… they are the ones easily targeted by misinformation. It’s about time we start to guide and teach them by people in authority with precautions, sexuality education as values formation because it teaches the values of responsibility, self-respect and self-worth. , must be
